There's a guy in one of my fantasy leagues that has the team name Seikoh Ponies. I thought its just because he has a psych degree and likes the Broncos. Totally missed the backwards hokies till now.

As far as I understand it the Mike is supposed to shoot that gap or bubble created by the lineman which usually leads to the Mike meeting the ball carrier at the LOS or behind it for a loss. You can see this in many of French's posts on the subject. Especially where he shows Chase Williams in the ACCCG against FSU.

If Motu is running up and then trying to run to the side before getting past the line that may be his problem, of course I'm no x's and o's guy and I could be completely wrong. That's my take on it though without seeing specifically what you are talking about.

Reminds me of the time someone hit two homeruns on opening day and that night on SportsCenter Scott Van Pelt said, "He's on pace to hit 324 homeruns this season."

paper airplanes> that damn clanga bullshit that Miss St has..

No kidding. I was at the Miss St vs LSU game on Saturday. It was LOUD!

The good was that LSU won it. The bad was that the game was close enough to the last play that the bell-ringing went on until the last second of the last play.

The smart fans supplemented their cowbells with earplugs.

My favorite example of this phenomenon was an announcer saying that some kickoff return guy "is averaging 50 yards per return today." What he failed to note was that there was one return for 100 yards and a TD, and one that was a touchback, so zero return yards. I couldn't tell if he was joking, but the way he said it, he wasn't. 50 ± 50 isn't that great or meaningful.

This thread is like complaining about rain. Nothing you can do will stop it so quit wasting your time. They are annoying, but so is the drunk play by play guy sitting behind me.

I did get some satisfaction watching a fail. Someone threw a plane and the wind caught it and redirected it back in their face.

just in case everyone didn't notice the LOLUVA guy hunched over THEKEYPLAY.COM wall

Sounds good to me. I'll allow it!

Edit: If you watch the video, it's obvious that the angle of the photo makes it look way worse. Wyatt's hand never got up into Magwood's facemask. It just appears that way from that angle at that point in time.
