That would be the fastest way to turn the student section hostile. If the students think that they are going to be liked out any second then they will stop going. Student ticket sales are already down and they are some of the loudest fans we get. I think people just take game day so seriously. Someone below wants to nix the Hokie Pokie. That was always something I loved. It's embarrassing as hell but I did it every damn game because I love my school and team.
I think we should focus on the field and take the good and the bad that our program is. It's the only one we have.
And also, can somebody explain to me just how the frick someone can hate something more than LOLUVA!? That is illogical.
Not disagreeing with you on the prioritization or issues but if one of those aero-engineered vellum flying crafts reaches the field, it can be a penalty on the home team.

The paper airplanes always remind me of that one basketball game back in 05-06ish when they did free mini Frisbee giveaway night at Casell. What a horrible idea.

Yea I agree it's not a job for law enforcement but Rhino event security should be dealing with it. You station one member behind each student section and just watch it's really no that hard to do.
I think Whit / we have bigger issues to deal with rather than trying to control 18 year olds and their actions. I'm the same year graduated as the author of the letter and it doesn't bother me at all.
Let's prioritize real issues guys, not cosmetic ones.
