In heavy knee brace today, walking with heavy limp. He's out 2-4. Was a cut block from the side. Let me tell you, that is one great kid. What an attitude.
So. Much. Pink.
That's what I'm saying! Why the hell can't a giant blackhole rip open the fabric of space and time and suck these to teams into oblivion for all eternity AT THE EXACT SAME TIME!? Literally.
GT always looks amazing against inferior competition. The difference between no gain and a 60 yard yard run is very small with that system -- and the small difference in speed and quickness between lesser teams and better teams can be a massive difference in the ability to stop GT's offense.
Duke beat Tulane pretty handily too...at Tulane and with an offense that is replacing some key skill players.
LB Andrew Motuapuaka has an MCL sprain. Could miss up to 4 weeks. #Hokies— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) September 14, 2015
And there's the official word...

Holy sh*t-that has over 3k faves!
Here :-) (re: source)

So last year, I was sitting on a soccer field in the middle of BFE watching 7 year olds kick a ball around aimlessly while increasing my stroke risk by 15x by watching the VT/ECU debacle on GameDay on ESPN. It was miserable, we were down 21 points before snack time, then I had 30+ minutes to drive through bad radio land to get back home.
I'm scheduled to be at that same field from noon until 1:30 or later that saturday. Do not let it be a noon game. It's inhumane.
Give me the TL so I can read it!
If they're competitive, then the top in-state kids have a reason to go there. And while their coaches could screw up a wet dream, that's a recruiting problem I don't want to have.
I want them to lose by 50. Every. Single. Time.
From Searels: Augie Conte came up with that and all the OL compete for it. They award it to one of their own by the way they practice each week.
Tyrod is awesome but that shirt is awful.
Okay just to update...
My orginal five tracked stats:
- Total Offense
- Scoring Offense
- 3rd Down Conversion %
- Red Zone Touchdown %
- Red Zone Scoring %
In addition, based on feedback above, I will be adding the following stats and comparing to the equivalent point last season:
- Avg. Yards per Play
- Avg. Plays per Game
- Avg. Plays per Drive
- Yards per Passing Attempt
- Yards per Carry, Backs Only
While there have been some really good suggestions about situational stats like avg yards to go on third down, I think I'm gonna forego those simply because if the offense is struggling on first and second down, overall stats will suffer. We won't have a high third down conversion rate if we average 7 yards to go on the down. Likewise with explosive plays, if they are lacking then yards per play will suffer.
I would like to make clear, I think these situational stats are excellent ideas and I wish I could do them. The problem is, I'm not aware of a source that publishes them. I don't have time to do the number crunching to actually generate the statistics. So if you're aware of a place that tracks down and distance and explosive plays, please let me know.
Thanks for the positive feedback and keep the suggestions coming!
This. The earlier, the better for the visiting team and vice versa.
Pink shorts/pink socks / lil' lax bro is my fav.
Also, what's up with all the hiked up socks? Is that in now? Note: I'm not a millennial.
The more I watch it, the more convinced I am that Coleman lined up wrong. If Motley had been looking to his right he would have seen the nickel defender was approximately 1/4 mile from Phillips, and the field corner was way deep on Ford. If he had thrown the screen pass, Phillips would still be running.
Noon games should be abolished entirely. Just the worst.
Noon might not be such a bad thing. Less time for the Pirate fans to tailgate equals a quieter stadium. That is positive for our QB(s) still gaining experience. Considering we have had a prime time game followed by two 3:30 games I think I can stomach a nooner in this situation. Save the later kickoffs for conference play.
Hey 3:30 isn't too bad either...Prime Time baby
When I'm on the Eastern seaboard, I'm not a fan of the noon starts, either.
But while in West Africa, where we're 4 hours ahead of Eastern time, noon Eastern works out nicely.
I'm expecting something wacky like that for GT. Rogers or Marshall or Alexander or someone at mike LB.
Well, seriously, would you want to watch Iowa again?
