Why are people asking about why our first string skill players are still out there?
Perhaps because we have one drive against a middling FCS team and Motley looks like he has been here 1 season instead of 3. They need to get things figured out before our schedule gets stated, and you can't do that on the sideline

I caught the first part of this game on the radio, so couldn't see the plays. I really feel like the refs are making some bad calls. Like we got the 3rd string refs for this game.

That punt for touchback was on Hughes, but the coverage team is not doing the job. When Hughes is aiming for the 10 yard line, should the coverage guys be running down to the 2 and looking back?

I agree. I mean we don't look great right now but honestly, when your #1 QB goes down in the first game, there will be some time needed to adjust. I'm not thrilled at the moment but I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. We're still winning this so far and hopefully it'll stay that way.
