Took us about the same amount of time to recognize Moorhead's Impact when he first arrived. Should it go both ways or nah?
That was a make up for the two times they did get there early in the first qtr.
It's hard to judge WR development when there's no QB.
I'm seeing the same thing you are in regards to Motu...he doesnt use his hands well enough to shed blockers, and is quick to run himself out of a play due to misdiagnosing where he needs to be.
Six quarters of football and the number of fans ready to jump out of the window on the team and coaches already is shocking.
Well there's stats and then there's the eye test. Based on the game flow, if u're not concerned about playing ANY fbs oponent whom by now is unlikely to respect our passing game...then kudos to your confidence.
That's the bad Beer,,,,
Yeah, the ejection of the USF player was total bull.
It's an FCS team they are trying to get reps.
The others are called "interceptions"
One of them went to the replay booth and they confirmed, in spite of the obvious fact that (1) the hit wasn't late and (2) the QB's and defender's heads NEVER touched.
THANK YOU!
I dunno. It sure looked like a pass, not a fumble.
He isn't going to be challenged to do things that he sux at against teams that aren't power teams. He won't have shhot a gap and tackle a RB behind the LOS till Pitt. He';; appear to be OK, but as soon as we meet Pitt...
Really? Not seeing that at all.
I'd say what Auburn did against an FCS team struggling, what VT is doing is finding a QB and offense to run for the rest of the season after losing the 1st string.
Since we basically have two guys and no one else is playing, I doubt we can conclude much about the WRs. Seem to be doing fine to me. Have to look at film to see if they're blocking better, because they weren't doing that well enough last year.
Did someone say chemistry? *perks up* Sorry... had to.
But yeah. There have been sparks of goodness when everyone's been on the same page. I think if Motley can get his cannon under control, we'll be pretty alright.
Actually, it seems like they're blocking a little better than previous years.
Yeah you know Frank Beamer likes that. I like the idea of a sky-high kick that lands on the 2, but I'll take the automatic touchback.
Mine's still up. They just replayed the story about Alabama's kicker from last week's Gameday.
Is it too soon to talk about the noticeable drop off in WR development since Moorehead? #TooSoonOrNah
At the half stats:
Motley is 7 for 14, 113 yards, 8.1 YPA, 3 carries for 28 yards, 9.3 ypc.
Trey, JCC and McMillian are all averaging 5.0 ypc or better.
The word of the day is chemistry. Get everyone in sync and we can succeed with this team.

Thoughts of offense in the first half:
