If you don't want to hook your laptop up to your TV with a physical cable or pay a lot of money for an XBox that you would probably never use, then you should think about buying a Chromecast. It uses your Wi-Fi network and you can use your laptop or smartphone as the remote. That's what I use to watch VT games that are only available on ESPN3. It's tiny and only costs $35. You don't even see it when it's plugged in to the TV. You can also cast Netflix, HULU and a bunch of other stuff. We take it with us on trips so we can watch Netflix or HBOGo in hotels.
