I'll be honest, I'm not really sure if we'll want to remember this game...
Utah by 14.
It was a catch.
Welp, I bet this is how Jimmy Garoppolo is feeling this morning.
OSU
More Suspended Players
Than UVA Fans

Honestly I haven't had a drink in over a year. I'm not a big drinker and when I do drink it's usually rum and coke or something. So I'm not worried about that. I'm looking to meet some of the TKP folks, see around campus and just take in the environment that is Tech on a game day.
I'm firmly in the camp that the surprise factor was not what made the bear successful last year, no matter what the apologists on 11W will say.
I 100% percent agree, and it actually bothers me when people say that Urban Meyer was surprised by the bear and that's why it worked.
The fact of the matter is that his passing game couldn't beat single man coverage. Every coach has to answer the question "How do we beat single man coverage" the very first day they start drawing up their playbook. When drawing up a pass play to beat single man coverage it doesn't matter what the defenders in the box are doing, all that matters is their corners have no help over the top and as an offense you have to exploit it.
Urban Meyer very well might have been surprised by the Bear, but no competent coach shows up to a game without an answer for single man coverage. It doesn't happen at the high school level, forget at the college level.
The real truth is that Urban Meyer had a solution to beat the Bear. That solution just fell flat because his players got outplayed. Bud Foster stacked the box and dared Urban Meyer's quarterback and wide receivers to outplay his corners and they didn't.
Preparation for the OSU!
Correction, it's anOSU, not the OSU.
Um, those SEC teams were the best, come on. They also happen to get the best recruiting classes, hmm.
I (now) live in Michigan and used to pull for them when they did not play VT, and also my wife is a die-hard fan (but I now have VT as her favorite team so there is that). Having said all that I now root for whatever team is playing against them because of 'the catch'. My feelings have been solidified due to the graciousness of all anOSU fans that have been on this site (although I do root for the other team under my breath because, you know, my wife and all).
But I do think Utah is good enough to win by 10.
Don't burn yourself out in the first hour... its a marathon, not a sprint
That being said, don't allow yourself to get too drunk. You want to remember the game.
If you look closely I tried to darken the letters for ESPN in the sign, but I don't think it worked too well.
Utah Utes: 27-24. Utah gets out early, Michigan falls just short of a comeback. Actually kind of interested to see what Michigan looks like this year. I just don't think they have the offense to beat good teams.
Anyone have any last minute tips for a tailgating newbie at VT?
Awesome Alum, Thanks. I also added a link to my original post up above.
As long as you slap one of these bad boys at the bottom.
The hero we need.
There is literally no offensive talent left at Michigan. Even harbaugh can't work that kind of magic. 24 - 13 utes
It should be required viewing.
I was trying to contextualize it. I work at a University with 10,000 students. That's 2.5x more people than I am around daily. It's mind bottling man.

Could be wrong, but I think it's the back end of a 2 for 1?
Up until a few years ago, the dean's office actually supplied me with contact information for every freshman. I was told not to abuse the privilege or there would be consequences, but I think emailing this out to every freshman wouldn't be abuse, right? It would just be like an addendum to standard orientation materials.

I think that would fall under the prerequisites of teams that win games. :)
