Software Engineer/Developer for a consulting firm.

But I'm an occasional freelance musician on the off-hours. And I use that loosely.

We spent all that money on the indoor facility and we still can't keep the sun out of Loeffler's eyes.

Man....

Hi TKP. Figured this thread would be a good off topic thread to come out of my annual offseason hiatus. I got married. So that was cool

Anyway, I work for VDOT. It's cool. I am an intern in Traffic Engineering for another semester. After that I will graduate and transition into my new job as an associate engineer. That will be cool too.

I'm a landscape architect at a civil engineering firm in the 757 full of other Hokies... My boss is a UVA grad who prefers to hiring Hokies over LOLUVA because we are better at our jobs than they are!

To the OP...if sports, particularly football, is your passion, stick in sports media. I work for a football pregame show on a major network, and I wake up ready to go to work, even if it's a 3 am. I haven't found my fandom to suffer. (to be fair, I'm much more a Hokie fan than NFL, in general). However, it can be pretty demanding at time. If you wanna chat about the industry, let me know...not sure if you can PM on here, but we can sort out a way to get in touch.

My name is VTrumpet the shrubber. I arrange, design, and sell shrubberies.

I may have had a beer with you at the freezing Clemson game in 2011? Found a tailgate exactly where you describe while searching (in vain) for another.

I'll be there. Driving up from Michigan as early as I can get up Monday morning. And y'all do realize that this thread is going to have like 66,000 comments, right?

French's real job is a secretive cheese taster. That's why he's so defensive about cheese, he doesn't want his true identity to mix with his online persona. Kinda like Ron Swanson/Duke Silver, minus any type of online persona.

I am! By replying here I won't have to scroll to the bottom!

I believe the proper term is "hot take artist"

Amen, Illinois.

Game-time play-calling is another beast but even if that IS a problem, who's a better man to work with than Frank? Say what anyone will about the vanilla tendencies, VT closes out games when we have the leverage to win, in most circumstances.

Lefty is young. However, offensive smarts are at a premium for any school trying to win a national title. We've lacked it for too long and though the road to recovery is ongoing, it's obvious that we're just a hop, skip, and a jump (Hopkins Shoutout) away from being a real threat on that side of the ball....but when we are......#sayyourprayers

I hope this holds true for many anOSU fans also.

I actually don't have a ticket for the game. First time in many years where I haven't been able to secure one for a home game.

This kind of bitter sweet for me--I'm happy for Mike Vick, but Landry Jones went to HS at my HS's biggest rival. We both graduated the same year and I've been pulling for him ever since. I'm not sure this bodes well for him.

If Vannett is able to turn and seal our DEs like he did on TD run by Dunn, we are in trouble.

There really isn't anything to go off of on that. What kind of stealth operation are the Buckeyes running up there?

McLaughlin could swing back to RT if Nijman came in. If he's ready to play this year it definitely gives the coaches more to work with

If Hansen went out, I am guessing that the choice is Osterloh at RT, or McLaughlin at RT and Nijman at LT. They aren't playing Osterloh at LT.
