Closing a trial to media completly is almost NEVER done. A judge in rare circumstances may prevent parties involved in the trial in talking about it but the media is NEVER prevented from discussing a trial. How many parts of the Constitution do you want to trample over?
We RV in the Airport lot and have been there for the past 4+ years. Are the in-laws part of the "Clubhouse Tailgate" or one of the other groups?

I counter one argument, and you jump back to another one. Reporting arrests as is commonly done, in the form of a list, is whatever. But the only legitimate story I can think of that could be told solely by a pattern of arrests that a pattern of convictions could not is police harrassment. If a person is repeatedly arrested, and repeatedly not charged, or acquitted of charges, they're still guilty of nothing.
If there was ever a class to skip...Trust me, as an alum, you only get so many of these. This could be epic.

No. It's not. Still a jury trial, and it's an already established practice. And the key component of my suggestion is that the order be rescinded upon conclusion of the trial. Make the full transcript (with necessary redactions) public right after the gavel falls. Let anybody and everybody discuss it openly with the press. After the gavel falls. I'm not talking about keeping these things secret forever. I'm talking specifically about responsibly controlling the flow of information until the courts have an opportunity to rule. I've said that repeatedly throughout this thread. I don't know how I can make it any clearer.

Change the parameters to against AP ranked, FBS winning, etc, you will still see VT in the top 3. Perhaps you should get a new prescription?
I'm around. I was a history major (yes, yes, laugh it up) but I let some personal issues get in the way. Now I'm just working and trying to get my stuff sorted out. I'll go back to school eventually but getting me right comes first.
