All I want to see is the tears streaming from the face of OSU fans, especially on 11W. I have much love for our OSU fans on this site, but with this game conducting the 2015 VT Hype Train, having the homers eat their tears would be quite a treat.
Well what ever the case we know his potential and if he is getting beat in the position I see it as good news of back ups in the line coming through. Maybe he is showing the 2nd string how to make pancakes!
Bama still pulls the top players in AL, but ever since 2008 after Saben's first season
they've been able to recruit nationally and focus less on the Deep South. They couldn't really recruit like that until they won a title.

Alabama signs #3 class in 2008, including RB Mark Ingram from Michigan, and #2 in 2009 including 757 and VA #1 player Phillip Sims
There is some history at Bama so it is harder to say recruit like Bama, but something with recruiting needs to change

Very good point on Stroman, especially concerning run support. When I envision a great player at nickel, I think of Kyle Fuller his sophomore year. I guy who can cover, but more importantly a great open field tackler.

# | Urban Meyer: Ohio State now devoting over 50% of their camp practices to Virginia Tech To be fair, I am pretty sure our coaches had said that they would start putting in OSU gameplans after our 2nd scrimmage so it is not a huge surprise. Big first game of the year, you might as well use an extra week to gameplan.

Now the fun begins after camp is over (almost, which is why I posted this since they are turning their attention to VT for 2 weeks straight).
Recent primetime/night games: games on Saturday Night where kickoff is after 7 pm. Also games where hype factor and national interest are high. Thursday, Friday and Monday night games are a push.
Top 10 regular season most watched games last year in descending order
USC/Stanford

Michigan/Ohio State

The odd one out was Michigan/Ohio State at noon, for oblivious reasons of course (Iron Bowl was on ESPN Primetime and Oregon was on ABC)

# | Urban Meyer: Ohio State now devoting over 50% of their camp practices to Virginia Tech I find it hard to believe that Frank&Co have been devoting all of our practice time to just the anti-Buckeye schemes. It's probably more about getting familiar with our playbooks than any specific strategies for our opponents no matter who they are or when they're on our schedule. I'm not surprised that UM hasn't been focused on us in practice yet.

Amen. It's actually shameful how few people are willing to give 100 dollars to VT to support atheltics. You want to keep quality coaches or hire better ones? Join. You want to see more staff helping with recruiting or expanded footprint recruiting? Join. I meet Hokies every day and I try and tell them about the Hokie Club and they just don't want to hear it.
We can all agree to "hate" this guy right? As soon as I left football I put on 30 lbs and having kids and working firehouse shifts has only added to it.
