I don't mind the homerism, it's expected when visiting a school's fansite, it's the gifs that are a bit annoying sometimes. Sometimes I expect discussion or something in an article and all I see are gifs everywhere...also it lags my phone up :\

r/cfb is an amazing subreddit and probably the most balanced sports based forum I have ever been on (and yes, sorry, that includes TKP. I still love you guys though). Yeah it has a few homers here and there but for the most part it's great.

I resemble that remark :-)

If you've ever done front squats (PROPERLY), that number is really mind boggling to the common, aging lifter like me :-)

Edit: and JC is one of the most respectful, nicest people around. Really good guy.

Your point about the game being closer to UT's largest fanbase vs. VT's is definitely a valid point

Reading comprehension is important. I noted that point and said it was valid.

1) The game is closer to UT than it is to Blacksburg, and more importantly the game is closer to the homes of a larger number of UT fans than it is to VT's.

I just didn't think the part that lead DBU's first point had much merit.

Those look sick. It helps all of those teams have larger fan bases... That's why I want the UA switch. Immediately we'd be a top 5 brand

Oh man this is the rematch that I'm most looking forward to. I hope Harbaugh is still their coach and I hope we hang 40 on them in the Big house.

That is slightly better than another RB with a smaller stature that eventually went on the the NFL. Ray Rice (Atlantic City issues aside here) squatted 450 while at rutgers and he was more of a bowling ball. JC squatting 465 is just awesome!

Hopefully it pays off on the field this year in the form of some tough yards and # linebackers shed.

Right, but there is a big difference between /r/cfb and /r/spacedicks. Basically two completely different sites. Sports subs tend to be the best in terms of maturity, especially for college football because most of the users are a older than the average age of the website as a whole.

I frequent reddit probably slightly more often than the key play, and while I think he was a bit harsh, I also see how people see the comments as being too homerish. I think it attends from the fact that on red dot there are fans of hundreds of teams, so you will get called out for being a homer, while on here you will generally be met with agreement. However, you can't beat the content of this website.

Your point about the game being closer to UT's largest fanbase vs. VT's is definitely a valid point, but Knoxville is only 25 miles closer to the speedway than Blacksburg. I'd say that is negligible.

Do you want it accurate or crowd pleasing? The best situation would be that an accurate report is also crowd pleasing.
