Its hilarious that they spent that much money on something that is about half as tall as the one we were building at the same time.
Thanks for one of your one your usual comments. I'm by no means tech savvy in fact I'm far from it, however I know several people on TKP and in person who do just fine with tech and work in the tech field who think their user interface is subpar. It's not easy to search for "topics" based channels and the intro to people just joining is subpar.
And does anybody have any good ideas of how to explain to my wife why I have Snapchat on my phone??!?!

He always seemed real nice when I talked to him. Of course, there was a part of me that hated him because I went on a couple dates and became friends with the woman he started dating and eventually married. No way I was going to compete with a future NFL TE.
I gotta believe the value of our football team in recovery and basketball team on the rise has got to outweigh the collective value of LOLUVa's programs.
Especially when you realize the LOLUVa Nike contract specifically does not take baseball into consideration because of the already existing deal with Rawlings.
I love playing the Pack. Wish we played them every year. I hope we will be together in the same SEC Division when we leave!
So, French, what kind of year would it take for Trey at RB to make up for not having him go the LB route? I know you were always a big fan of having him on the D. With LB being a position of need for a couple years, it always makes me wonder........

Snapchat has moved way past the era of being centered around or concerned with dick pics. Its moved on to be a much larger social media tool. If you think its that difficult to use, maybe tech savvy is a generous term to be using

LOLUVa's deal was pretty secret and it is a heck of a lot better than ours for a piss-poor football program and a pretty good basketball program. I gotta believe the value of our football team in recovery and basketball team on the rise has got to outweigh the collective value of LOLUVa's programs.
Let's face it, Nike is a business. As a business you try to get the most bang for your buck. If you can spend less for more, you're going to do it unless there is a quantifiable financial downside (bad PR, for instance). Keeping the details secret longer gives you a leg up in other negotiations. In this case, this comes out with 7 years left in our contract. Assuming the states of the programs is comparable then, we've still had 7 years to settle down from the initial outrage and they've minimized backlash while getting a good deal.

At that same time, Whit also said numerous times last year, when asked about Stick It In that his first act as Athletic Director wasn't going to be to undo anything the old administration did, out of respect for them.
Would not be surprised if that mindset carried into this contract as well. He wasn't going to immediately shop us around to the closest bidder, and he wasn't going to veto a contract already negotiated and agreed upon.
If your deal has to be a secret, makes you wonder about it.

Nope... the extension was signed in secret and wasn't publicized. The only way people knew it did was that the dates on the public documents changed, and there were some casual remarks made last year to various Hokie Club groups that the Nike deal was extended.
I started using snapchat because it was one of the few chat apps my wife's school hadn't blocked. (Her room didn't get cell service).
Now it's just another tool to feed my VTFootball obsession.
