#2 I know I speak for most of us when I say this; we all know Frank's ship is about to sail off into the sunset. As much as he declined questions about his health, watching him time and again this offseason points in that direction. I love the guy, want him around for a long time. But in the last 3 years, he appears to have aged 10. I give him through next season, then I believe he hangs it up. Seems like the prefect way to go out for such a big NASCAR fan.
#3 I love neutral site games, and hope to be in Bristol. But one of the big knocks on season tickets is a lackluster home schedule. Aside from one big headliner, Whit and his staff need to conjur up some plans to bring more big names to campus. With the likes of Duke, Furman, crossovers with NC State, etc...the schedule at home doesn't have that "shiny new coin" look to it. I think if they improve the quality of the visiting teams, tickets will sell themselves. Our product is improving, let's marry that up with some bigger names.

I mean maybe he went to a Halloween party dressed as a penis. Maybe he always goes to parties dressed as a penis and people keep asking him "hey, man why you always gotta be such a dick?" because they want to see his other costumes.
I don't see how calling someone a "dick" would get assessed as fact, but I do see how it gets assessed as a personal attack.
I'm sure this is how it started or at least the days leading up to the punch.
In those highlights, that's the only lucky pass he threw. Everything else was a quick read to an open guy.
I keep hearing how we got so lucky against them last year. I don't see it. Our coaches called a better game than theirs and put our players in a better position to win.

EDIT: Maybe he's not! Wow, that's quite a story, and worth a watch (he's one of three topics in the episode -- the first third of the show). I never tracked his story all that closely, but whoa! The guy has been through some major life blows (during his youth), and controversies on the field. Knowing what he's been through helps explain why he had a major attitude sometimes when he was in disagreements with officials or coaches. He's clearly a stellar athlete.
They don't talk a lot about his time at Virginia Tech, though they do mention that he played there and met his wife there, and show a little of his success there. Noteable: When the recruiter from Virginia Tech came to see him in high school, he ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown.
You are talking about a bunch of Neanderthals that get hit in the head a lot, not exactly rocket scientists for the most part. This behavior does not surprise me at all about a bunch of alpha males. Trust me before I retired from the military I worked in the Special Operations world and it was very similar, lots of stuff handled off the books. This type of behavior is way more common than you think among adults...

Really I've seen multiple posts where Alum had issues with: coaching, recruiting, play calling and how the adminstration does things, him and I have even gone round and round on issues, here is the difference. He does it using examples and gives credit where credit is due. You, well you are just negative about EVERYTHING!!

Reminds me of the way loluva used to be. Got highly rated recruits, couldn't win squat with them, they go to the NFL. Now it's more like they get the highly rated recruits, they stay for a year, transfer somewhere else because they actually want to win a few games.

caveat here is obviously I have zero time, so I'm sure there are issues with it, but this is more of spitballing than final solution. Something like this:
I would double stack the North Endzone to allow for more seats and install College Football's first Panoramic Scoreboard. This is an extremely basic sketchup model that I downloaded and quickly played with for the last 30 mins while waiting for my plane.
First thought on everyone's mind: Holy Shit that scoreboard would cost a FORTUNE!
Why yes, if it was a regular LED screen this would have multiple problems beyond cost. Weight, support, etc being top of those concerns. This is why I would go for a solution using a product like MediaMesh. It's a lightweight metal mesh curtain with HD level LEDs woven into it to create movie quality images, day or night. This is a close up of it:

I might back it with a retractable maroon shutter or something lightweight just in case, but it works very well in daytime. edit: could also integrate a fireworks launching array to the support structure of this along the entire span. Would look pretty badass.
And to answer the questions above:
a) This can be done in the space we have, and
b) The added height and more vertical stacking I am thinking of would indeed trap even more noise.
