Looks like your secondary was getting beat a lot.

Ok, things were getting thin for the comments, so I'll drop this one here...
Oklahoma is looking to expand. Article with pics here
They have an open endzone with stand sort of like our north. They are planning to connect the horseshoe with an upper deck.

Mizzou received a conceptual 5 phase expansion, that would take them from 71,000 to in the neighborhood of 106,000. Concept here, with some good graphics

Utah is studying whether or not to expand, and enclose the horseshoe also. There are pics of the proposal in here.

The one thing that strikes me about all of them, is almost none of the proposed or completed expansions have any sort of cover to them. It either never rains/snows on Saturday (and the occasional Thursday) or the pros just have that much more interest in covering the fans. And in doing so, either mistakenly creating a noise funnel or actaully looking at that factor during the design process.

One of the things that would trigger an expansion would be a demand for tickets. We were down 4% in attendance last year versus prior year. #sources. If VT is truly looking to expand the enrollment in the school, that could be a reason to expand seats. Let's do the north end zone like the south, put good seats at a decent price in there with some boxes, and move the students back to the east side.

And in the day and age of bigger is better, Fed Ex is in the process of removing seats (I know. I know. The product isn't worth the price, thus demand is down...but the 4% down from previous years is a reality for VT too.), And the Chargers are thinking of going smaller...Chargers stadium thoughts

Probably bought the ticket because Geno was doing him a favor coming to the camp. When he felt he got stood up, he wanted his money back.

I'm still not too sure how many plays he can give 100% on at 359 lbs - especially if a lot of spread teams don't allow the D to change out players for a breather. I'm sure he'll lose some weight during the football season and this fall practice, but even the ECU NT played ~315 lbs I think, and he wasn't in on EVERY play.

If you put me in charge, I'm red shirting Shai and Marshawn this year.

If they're needed later in the year and they're 110% healthy we can burn it, but I'd rather be cautious. There's a decent amount of depth at RB right now.

Agreed- provided Coleman and McMillian can bring the power element with Trey, I think all three guys give you just about everything you want. I see McKenzie kind of in the same light as Lawson, in that when they have a redshirt year, and you have depth at the position, you make 100% sure they are completely ready before you give them a look (experience for Lawson and the injuries for Shai being my hang up.) If they play tOSU and can run the ball effectively with those three guys, I think Shai gets the shirt, and you consider burning it if there are injuries.

Getting the feeling that Marshawn will redshirt. Reid has already used his redshirt. The coaches said that McKenzie had looked good earlier this week. It is hard to tell, but I do hope that Shane uses a shorter rotation at the RB spot. We saw how well it worked with JC at the end of last season and with Trey the season prior.
