Forget top 10, our Dline is already being touted as top 3 by many fans.
I saw on the Ford interview on Friday that he is up to 190 from 174. That has got to be fantastic for his ability to fight DBs for jump balls and getting separation. He is going to be so good next year.

Ok, one more...

The O looked like they were winning those reps, but I want Brewer to make the defense defend the middle.
Keep pointing this out until they comply.
Virginia Tech first team in NCAA history to have a 15 win season? Make it so TH13.
I still think last year could have been a very special year had half the starting lineup not gotten hurt. This season, we have an improved offensive line, I'd like to think. We're returning Michael Brewer, who can hopefully get back to what he was during the Ohio State game. We're returning J.C. Coleman, who looked awesome during the latter part of the year. We're returning Trey Edmunds, who looked awesome during the 2013 season till he broke his leg. We're returning Marshawn Williams (yes I think he's going to play), who looked awesome at times last season. We return Sam Rogers, 'nuff said. We return Isaiah Ford and Cam Phillips, who might be better than the Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin tandem. We return Bucky Hodges and Ryan Malleck, the best tight end duo is Tech history, IMO.
Then on defense, we return the whole defensive line. Deon Clarke returns at linebacker, and while Motuapuaka but have looked a little rough around the edges during the spring, he got valuable experience last year when Chase Williams was out. Then Brandon Facyson is returning to his old self, according to the coaches, and Kendall Fuller is Kendall Fuller. Donovan Riley has shown big play ability with his interception against FSU in 2012 and his interception against Ohio State (although that ball was thrown right to him), and Chuck Clark is going to be a lot like Brandon Flowers in my opinion. Then Joey Slye and A.J. Hughes are both returning.
I'd have to agree with Dadi. This could be a very special year.
To the embarrassing list of things I missed watching games, please add how freakishly good Isaiah Ford was at catching the ball.
I am excited about the 190# version this year.
Wyatt has come a long way since he was a young boy. He had a very troubled past that I won't get into but to see him mature and become the man he is now is very inspiring.

# | Bitter blog - Sunday links: Randall, Furrer, Coles head Virginia Tech HOF list Bryan Randall is still my favorite Hokie qb, glad to hear he is getting his due!
Bud doesn't do fluff. He tells it like it is. Since the end of April (post spring ball), both he and Torrian have said Facyson is back to his old self.
Thought for sure Alex's story on Maddy and Dadi would've got a shoutout.
At least if he did that, he wouldn't make the mistake of giving an exclusive to Mike London.
I think they finally got the memo, particularly after they lost their monopoly on the 757.
Considering the head of the Sugar Bowl was a UM alum at the time, I wouldn't be so quick with that statement.
To those who say the plot is too complicated and convoluted (of which I have been one): binge watch the series. I did it last night, and it's much clearer if you watch it as if it were an 8 hour movie. It becomes clearer that Pizzolatto is trying to do a modernized, Chandler-esque take on Chinatown, and unfortunately for him the format of a weekly television show just isn't conducive to that. This season is a lot better than most give it credit for, but unfortunately, it just doesn't work that well in the chosen medium.
Is the head slap illegal at all levels and for how long. In high school and the one year of D3 I did they were teaching it as a technique. Maybe I just tuned out the part about it not being legal.
Shai is looking good!! This guy going to play this year and be good!
Maybe the coaching staff would finally have to get off their ass and legitimately adjust their recruiting strategy to be more national
That's already happened. Lefty has already landed QBs from PA (Good luck, Andrew), FL, and MI. Searels has made inroads to GA. We're targeting IN and NJ more and are dipping past NC into SC. Are we pulling Cali and Texas recruits? Well, outside of Brewer's transfer, not yet. But you're talking like we still live and die by the 757.
Or he starts a 7 on 7 team in the 757.
It's not Michigan's fault the referee was an idiot.
I just want to see us set a new record for wins.
He's the real deal. He's been to the show, and can attest to the competence of the coaching staff and that VT's football program can launch an NFL career.
In my "game", use of the brake pedal is both required and desired. Without gas, I imagine this was much more difficult. I've never made it to 460; I always end up somewhere on that last hill.
That's a pretty amazing accomplishment. What vehicle was that?!
Much less of value was in the clips. Luther Maddy threw a vicious head slap on Eric Gallo and beat him cleanly. It looked awesome (and it was awesome to see Big Lu look so quick), but that would be a penalty in a game.
Kendall Fuller and Isaiah Ford went one on one with a drill. Fuller got a great jump on the out route and got a hand in, and Ford still ripped the ball down. It was great football all around. I couldn't see who he was up against, but Joel Caleb ran a really sharp route as well.
In skeleton, all the pass routs looked like out breaking stuff. The O looked like they were winning those reps, but I want Brewer to make the defense defend the middle.

Well I broke down and joined snapchat...
