They are, but those are also mostly legit. There might be OSU fans in Richmond, NOVA, the 757, etc., but an athletic department employee searched the zip codes of people who bought season tickets. People in Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland aren't buying our season tickets.

I am curious as to why you are not sold specifically? Nobody here is going to see the plan Bud or any candidate submits for moving VT to the next level. Is our criterion only that you must have won a National Championship?

Let me ask the question this way: what has he not done to earn a shot as the big whistle? Whatever that is, the successful candidate should have already done it as well. I seriously am not picking at you. For the sake of good discussion, I am curious what BF has to do to sell anybody on being the right guy to lead the team when CFB retires.

I feel like Deablo will end up being a really good get for the Hokies. He goes to my sons' high school. He's got a good head on his shoulders, and he's a real hard worker. He'll make the transition to college smoothly.

Saw him play many times. He stood out every game. He's that kid about whom someone in the stands always says, "Dang, who's that?"

Phillip Patterson, and Grant Holloway still. I am not worried at all. I really like the receivers we have gotten and the ones we still stand a chance to get.

Having received 2, I agree! just playing devil's advocate for the kid, perhaps a little too enthusiastically. The fact that college park is a hole was enough to keep me away from there.

I wanted to alleviate any frustration by the above commenters for misunderstandings concerning the validity of choosing UMD based on Tino's apparent preference of prospective job opportunities from receiving a degree there.

Doesn't really leave a good taste in your mouth when even Maryland is now picking us off for the better recruits in the region

With Diablo, Kumah, Denmark already on board, I didn't really feel a thing about Tino' s commitment. But I would've gladly welcomed him to HokieNation because hes a good player. Knowing Tino , his recruitment may not be over.

UMD is a fine school. I went to the business school (before I moved away), and my wife has a graduate degree from there. Not sure why you're posting that here, though.

I was in the class of '14. As a freshman, you have to memorize a bunch of relatively useless facts, one of which was that there were 13 gargoyles around campus. Finding this number wholly unacceptable, a group of us got into War Memorial Gym after hours, climbed up on the roof, and cemented a 14th gargoyle onto a corner of the building. Probably the single most interesting night of my time in Blacksburg.
