# | Bitter blog - Mailbag, Part III: How does Ohio State's talent stack up historically, plus more Only reason I don't mind odu is the wifey went there so I will be able to win some concessions when we whoop them every year...

yep, that's it

That makes no sense. Coaches come and go. It happens. You put the best man in for the job, and if Bud thinks its Wiles, then you give it to Wiles. There's no need to but TG in a position Bud doesn't think hes ready for just for the sake of keeping him
None of those guys were a coordinator in the same job for over 20 years. They all had a upward trajectory throughout their careers and were HC by the time they were 45. Bud chose not to do that
"Initially, I thought Monarchs might replace the Pirates as the Conference USA-level team that Virginia Tech faces every year, but in every one of those years that the Hokies play the Monarchs, they also play the Pirates. So it's clearly not a replacement situation. Those games were mostly scheduled before Babcock arrived, so we'll see if he has a different scheduling philosophy going forward."
--------------------
Those two teams should be competing for the SAME slot in the schedule, not TWO DIFFERENT slots so that we're playing them both in the same years. I hope in future scheduling arrangements, this pattern gets changed. I realize it's too late for the existing agreements. The thought of playing both of these teams every year is almost as disappointing as being matched with Boston College as a cross-divisional rival.
That said, the AD's at Virginia Tech have arranged some great matchups, like this year's season opener, so you take the good with the bad.
warning: overplaying a joke, but I'm gonna do it anyway

If this turkey was to trap/flog Harbaugh, It would prove he is evil. Even animals hate him, that or one of us is really good at black magic.
I only regret that I have but one leg to give to this gif. Bravo, good sir.
i think it would look something like this:

I would buy that T-shirt.
if revis wanted the info to come out his attorney could put out a statement
Not necessarily. I don't know the specifics of VT's sexual misconduct policies but a lot of universities have really changed their policies in recent years and it's really destroying the notion of due process in the name of "empowering victims". Unfortunately, these policies tend to empower accusers and presume the guilt of the accused, rather than trying to actually determine if the accuser is actually a victim. I linked to a story from Amherst College a few comments up where a guy was expelled for allegedly sexually assaulting his girlfriend's roommate. The only problem is that he was blacked out drunk and she was the one who initiated the encounter. The entire process is grossly unfair to the accused and gave him almost no opportunity to assert his innocence.
IT WAS A CATCH
Just remember Michigan, you brought this reign of terror upon yourselves.
Revenge may not have come swiftly, but it's here all the same.
...Which is a far cry of how he ran his program at UF.

"GAWD I'm, like, totally sooooo depressed....but lemme fix my hair and make sure I look cute! Maybe Herbie is watching me! ZOMG!"
I dunno why, but a ditzy, valley-girl caption seems apropos.
Well done

The biggest reason for that is Wiles isn't going anywhere. But someone will come and snatch Torrian, shortly. We need to do something to keep him here.
I had never heard this before, I don't know why...I just kind of assumed TG would fill that role I guess.
Jimbo was an OC and/or QB coach at ever stop in his career, including under Saban at LSU. Kelly was only a DC one season at Johns Hopkins in 1994, every coaching position he had after that prior to becoming a head coach was on the offensive side of the ball.
Man I forgot this classic.
hahaha I laughed way too hard at that one. +1
I don't drink so this was watching the game student section. I mean, we had our obnoxious drunks near us, but most of those would do the same thing we did, but they'd head for the North Endzone instead of the East. I like to think we were just clearing space in the North for those guys to enjoy the game how they wanted and we could actually enjoy the football.
On a related note, a few of us go stuck in the South Endzone one game (really uptight usher or whatever you call them) and it was pretty awful. We lost to NCSU and the whole game I couldn't tell how many yards we/they got per play. It was cool to see running lanes open up and to know when a kick was sailing wide and all (nope), but I would take 5Q on the 50 any day over that experience.

concessions? what do you guys bet on those games? You know what, forget I asked
