Well shit:
Ryan Williams cut heading into Cowboys' camp.
Best of luck to RMFW wherever the journey takes him next.
Based on my film review of Cardale I would be surprised if he starts over JT
He's "expressed interest in" a few vacancies (WVU and Clemson), and interviewed for others (Pitt and almost Vandy), but let's not forget that once upon a time, Beamer "expressed interest in" going to UNC. How do we know he really gave his all to try and get hired, rather than merely using these situations to bolster his position at Tech?
Context also matters. Clemson already had Swinney as an interim head coach. Same thing with Stewart at WVU. Pitt took Todd Graham when Foster didn't show for the interview in 2010, which likely influenced them not hiring him in 2011 after Graham left and he DID interview.
I was thinking the same thing. And a smaller movement to start to get their attention, and then before it registers, then ya get after 'em.
the startled QB
I think either one will be the startled QB against Bud's d-fence.
This was funny, but dude kept trying to get them way too early. Shoulda kept still for a few more moments on most of them
Thanks man!
As awesome as the fat man touchdowns are, this is a terrible thread to read when it's 1pm and you haven't eaten lunch yet.
what is the crucible?
EDIT: so that gif was taking a while to load and I thought you were making a reference to the crucible. As in, you were about to get piled on worse than a goth in 15th century Salem. #readingwaytoomuchintothingstofindajokethatsjustnotthere

# | Frank Beamer Hopes Virginia Tech's Next Head Coach "Would Come From Our Staff" Couldn't agree more on this. My guess is (and has been) that Beamer himself doesn't even know when he's going to hang it up. It could be after this season or he could very well end up outlasting a few of the coaches who supposedly use the "Beamer is gonna retire soon" to negative recruit against VT.
go to 2:14 to see how Jones will react to Dadi by the end of the game
I remember watching a game on TV (maybe WVU vs. Texas) where Berry sat to the left of Dingle and the announcer said something like "I'm glad they sat in this order and not the other way around".
chips wine in kill devil hills and trio in kitty hawk have very good selections. trio does have 24 taps and does growlers.
obx brewing station is a nice stop too.b avoid weeping radish.
so much to choose from. if ipas, honestly how fresh they are is almost as important as who makes it. I like drinking good local as best I can. at this point, I'm drinking canned session ipas oskar blues pinner and Firestone walker easy jack a lot at the pool. At home whatever wild ale (sour), barrel aged stout or DIPA I can get.
I'm not sure exact obx distro, but they have some you can't get in va.
also, alesmith from San Diego is now sold in va. stone, Firestone, ballast point ... hard to go wrong with their ipas.
*QB
That's my take on Dam Lager as well... great hot weather / yard work kind of beer.
Now I'm really hoping Cardale is named the startled QB on Labor Day night.
*tight end
He'd be considered a home run as defensive coordinator.
Bull & Bones St Mauve Stout is among the best beers I've ever tasted.
From another thread:
Scenario #1: From another thread I stated:
I'm gonna say it now (and I may be wrong, but my gut says this): When Whit and Frank agree its time for Frank to retire (and Whit has a # of years max built into that to help hold this together), Bud will be HC and TG will be the DC.
For this scenario OC depends on how Loeffler does over the next 2 years.
Scenario 4: The new HC is Shane Beamer. There are 2 things I have seen recently that make this a possibility:
A. How the players reacted to Shane has the acting head coach on the sideline during and after the Military Bowl, it was positive in many ways.
B. The following linked video: Beamer Family This is Home Video
This is as much an introduction to Shane by the University for that role as much as it is a statement about the Beamer family's feelings about VT as home.
C. Frank Beamer is about his family. VT is a big part of his family but its secondary to his blood family.
I think Shane needs more experience, but this is a scenario that cannot be fully discounted.
I think Bud's tweet of his DC position is more about recruiting than anything. Also, Frank's statement in the same interview is that he'd like to keep doing HC "for a while longer". These statements are about optics. VT is a state university so they have to do a public search for an HC when the time comes. But as stated, it's Whit's decision.
I'll take VT Head Coach Scenario 1 for $1000 Alex.
Classic Rock most of the day, especially Tom Petty and CCR if it's warm. About 3-4 hours before the game transition over to party music. Start with some chill rap and build up to rap/raging music. Make sure to include plenty of Nelly and any song that all the hammered tailgaters can sing along to.
I really like the kid running along and clapping during the first play of his highlight video.

# | Virginia Tech Football Recruiting: 2016 WR Divine Deablo Commits to the Hokies That's a lot of WR. I doubt there are any more. Need more Oline, a DE, and a TE. As it is, this many WR recruits doesn't bode well for the future of anyone not named Ford or Phillips. It also might show a shift towards less RBs and VT using more spread, and using the WR as RB.
The Hype Train has made an unscheduled stop. Hopefully fall camp can get it rolling again...

I always just thought the herbs and vegetables on my plate were the bait that got my steak there...never really thought about them as garnishes..
