While I have been an advocate of Bud Foster taking the reigns as Head Coach once Beamer retires (I hope that's how he goes out), I do think it is important to see who else might be interested in the spot. If we can get an offensive-minded head Head Coach and can keep Bud Foster at Defense Coordinator, that could be very dangerous. But, I would like to take comfort in the fact that this coach will stick around at Tech for awhile. That means that Rich Rodriguez is probably a no-go. I am interested to see what happens when this time comes, though.

That article is eye-opening to say the least. The players don't even get paid and are classified as independent contractors, so they have to get their own health insurance (a supplemental policy is offered by the league, although it sounds like a lot of the players are not made aware of this). Doesn't exactly paint the league owner in the best light.

He's right on all accounts, especially Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Find some of that wherever you can.

This is what I was thinking as I read this too - it seemed to be more an indictment of the coaching than of the players. If WF figured it out and kept doing the same thing all game and we made NO adjustments... I can't believe FBS athletes from any school are incapable of handling whatever adjustment would be needed to fix the issue.
Ugh.

His dive for cover form is awful. Needs to work on those mechanics.
The problem is that he is not wearing anything over his face, so if they get too close, it is obvious there is a person in the uniform.
