another two-fer...and both in the state of West Virginia...coincidence?

High Five!
The dude is 6'2" and 215+ lbs and has been a running QB for two years against tough defenses. He does not shy away from hits. He averaged 14+ carries a game in 2013 at 6.25 ypc, so he can easily handle the H-back position.
I don't think Brady was punished for deflating footballs. I think Brady was punished for not kowtowing to the commissioner's office. If he has said, "Yes, I told him to soften the balls, I figured he knew I meant as soft as you can without breaking the rules" and then cooperated with the "investigation" the whole thing would have blown over before the super bowl. Unfortunately for them, the Patriots organization has the attitude that they are above the rules and not accountable to the league. THAT's what they were punished for.
The answer is that Arizona got a little lucky, had a monster in Scooby Wright, beat Oregon, and had a good year. That's pretty much it.

Good stuff.
Did he have to wear an East Carolina Football T-shirt?...
Brando is one of the biggest SEC homers on the net. Our beating Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, along with several other SEC teams losing in bowls, has taken a lot of the luster off the SEC. An undefeated or one-loss Ohio State is in, along with a 0- or 1-loss TCU or Baylor, a 0- or 1-loss PAC12 team (likely USC or Oregon). A 2-loss Alabama, even if it's the SEC champ, won't get the final spot over a 1-loss ACC team or another 1-loss team from the B1G or PAC12.
It's good the NFL stood their ground. This is not a court of law. The NFL does not have subpoena powers. The NFL does not have to prove beyond a reasonably doubt. It is obvious to non-Patriot fans that Tom Brady told the equipment guys to deflate the balls, they did, and then Tom Brady lied and destroyed his phone.
I wore mine to work today for all of the 5 minutes it takes to walk to the locker room and change out of it. 5 minutes of being the best dressed man at the plant.
Yeah, I thought he's had a pretty good past.
We had 2 guys transfer, 2 guys leave the team, and one guy graduate last year without getting any WR in last year's class and only Joel Caleb moving to the position. Given that most teams have 14-15 WR on the roster, we're already a couple players short at that spot. Throw in that three guys (two on scholarship I believe) are graduating this year and we're probably taking 5 guys at WR this year just to make sure we have enough bodies at the position.
Shrinkage?
Foster's past?
My personal favorite was Wake Forest: "just hope that the game doesn't turn into a blood bath. If it gets bad, remember the 2006 ACC Championship season." But then again, they beat us 6-3 last season in double overtime...

# | Frank Beamer Hopes Virginia Tech's Next Head Coach "Would Come From Our Staff" I honestly think Tech would have won that game, had Hyman not been called for that pass interference.

# | Frank Beamer Hopes Virginia Tech's Next Head Coach "Would Come From Our Staff" What I meant by stability to a fault is that Brian Stinespring was OC for entirely too long, O'cain happened to luck out when Tyrod Taylor committed, and Newsome was a joke. I do condone Beamer staying in office as long as we are making bowl games. He made all the correct changes after the 2012 season, 2013 was a good year until Duke derailed us, and 2014 could have been a good year had half the team not gotten hurt. I expect the team to go 9-3 this year and win a decent bowl game, and I think that would be really the most realistic high note for CFB to go out on.
His speed makes it look like he could be a straight line burner. I bet he will really scorch some defenses.
Another great one is the Eric Thomas how bad do you want it speech.. chills every single time I listen to it. I linked it for anyone who wants to hear it.
But...But....Bud does have the boys turned around...and it might be our year.
Funny. I went there for 2 yrs and never heard that.
And the NFL just upheld the 4 game suspension. There will be no reduction.

that's an ECU football alum.. Giavanni Ruffinn he was a RB
