Great info, as always. I'll be looking forward to his insight and any news nuggets he'll throw our way.
I find it interesting that Patterson has already made up his mind. It'll be a compelling revelation if he picks Tech, considering his mind was made up b4 officially visiting. Which if he does, would be a great example of how complicated recruiting can be; for some, it's about early PT. For others, it's about being a part of a family, the coaching staff, or facilities. Sometimes we as fans and alums get all sideways when we read the coaching staff didn't close on a recruit. In most cases (see: Josh Sweat) the staff has done everything possible, just short of giving away Taco Bell coupons...they are dealing with 17/18 year old kids. Who knows what they're thinking? Evidently Philip Patterson already does...lets just hope he signs with the good guys!
What worries me about Pitt? French. He's worried about Pitt. THAT scares me.

That was like a kid's visit to a candy store for me. I saw several players I'd like to add to our recruiting bag. Never gonna get them all, but I do like the buzz Beamer's BBQ generated. While I am concerned about the sauce, I'm thinking those kids are too young to be totally opinionated about it like most of us older folk are, so I'll give Frank the benefit of the doubt on that one.

David Wilson had similar characteristics (but faster) and he would have not have been a good punt returner.
There are reasons you don't see many 6'2" 215lb punt returners. They're not quite as quick and elusive when they're not following a line or eluding 210 lb gunners instead of DLs.
This. I have been saying this for 10yrs. I can't hardly think of the last big time game featuring an SEC team on the road, not since LSU got spanked in BBurg. They just don't travel and want to act like they are tough.

That's not true. They've played such powerhouse as Charleston Southern, Western Carolina, Georgia State and Georgia Southern right before the Iron Bowl so they get so beat up they can barely suit up.
Preseason rankings are ridiculous. I'd love if a major sports company came out with rankings only after the 4th week
