Gary Patterson and Bud Foster...wow, just wow. They would dominate.

They can point out that they have x number of schools in the top 25, but hey fail to mention that not all of them belong there. Its the ESPN bias IMO and it isn't going to stop anytime soon. Fact is, because of 3 games last year the west got waaay over rated and it showed in bowl season. Hell it started to show when Auburn got smacked down by UGA (who lost to GT BTW).
I don't like Jimbo, but while we're in the ACC, we need to root for ACC teams over SEC teams every time they play (maybe except for LOLUVa).
I love this article! I have noticed Alabama never faces a non-conference opponent except on neutral sites. Can't stop reading this! How could you even come up with excuses for bowl games when you have 3-4 week rests from your last game, oh and top recruiting classes each year!
To be honest, it was actually fun to watch this game yesterday. Completely removing the outfits from consideration, I would watch the LFL over the WNBA every time.
That said, the blocking was infuriatingly difficult to watch.
The excuses are getting ridiculous. SEC fired the first shots, openly discussing 7 in a row at every opportunity. The rest of the conferences kept their heads down, kept grinding, and bounced back. Then after a couple of bad years, the SEC comes back chirping again, when everyone else moved on and is ready / excited to compete with more parity across the conferences. Look at Beamer's comments from media day; doesn't talk about other teams or conferences; he talks about how VT needs to improve.
Learn to be modest, focus on your team, and most importantly just stop whining. These coaches openly act like children; way to set an example for your guys on the team.
Something resembling football!
Though I will say it is crazy to think that even with this women's football has actually come a long way from a Super Bowl halftime stunt. I dont think it could evevr be huge, but I dont think it is crazy to imagine that within a decade or two a more evolved women's league cold be on par with the WNBA
You engage the quads and upper back more than the lower back and glutes- which you get more with traditional back squats. It's not all or nothing, but the difference is there.
For RB, the front squat has been argued to be a better exercise for those reasons.
Front squats are also really good if someone is struggling with correct form with back squats....another good variation is a Zercher squat which is a front squat with a low grip in the bend of the elbows.
Regardless, JC killed it.
I really hope OU SAE =/= America's future business leaders, lawyers, and lawmakers
Not only that, but would you want to be worn down, injured, and damaged from such a "brutal" conference for 2-3 years before you even get to the NFL, potentially shortening what pro career you may have.
I don't necessarily believe this, but I see how it could be used for recruiting?
Futhermore, it wasn't just "two students" either, it was a BUSLOAD of America's future business leaders, lawyers, and lawmakers explaining how they felt about black people. That situation speaks to the systematic racism our country is plagued with. I hope that clears it up a bit more for you.
PS - I hate the n word. Any variation of it. However, there's a HUGE difference in the situations you presented and it's not really that hard to understand it. Whether you agree with my sentiment or not, it's not really that hard to understand the HUGE differences.
Were they singing a song that simply "used the N word" or were they singing a hateful song about hanging and killing black people repeatedly referring to them as niggers? There's your difference, I really hope the situation isn't that ambiguous to you.
I can't even lurk on this site anymore smh
It was lunch, not dinner. And admit it. If Bill Brill had called you up at your house after you had written a scathing letter about his and his paper's disgustingly, blatantly biased toward UVA reporting, and invited you to join him for a free lunch to talk about it, wouldn't you have gone? Having never hit a human being in anger, despite routine provocation and desire, I wouldn't have hit him anyway. Sorry to disappoint you fellows. I take out my agression on helpless kittens and dogs, wahoos, and whoever Tech is playing next...and fish, definitely fish.
People sure, what about companies? What do they think? They will fire anyone who brings negative light to the organization. They must have numbers already crunched regarding revenue lost from offensive comments.
Well, of course anything that "might" be offensive will get you reprimanded these days.
It's mainly because companies don't want a "money maker", potentially offending a group that might label the money maker and company as offensive. The kicker is, if the company thinks they'll lose ratings or money from someone speaking their mind, then that person must go. Hulk Hogan is a another example.
All about not losing money, and not producing a negative image.
those games were pure extasy!
Are you saying he's MDMAwesome?
I see Miller as basically a bigger Deon Newsome. He's gonna be their sweep guy and there will be counters and trickeration off of that.
My wife disagreed, I slept in the spare bedroom last night
It was much more than 20, but the point still stands.
Not sure we'll see any more commits today, but guys are having a great time and things might be getting interesting in the 757.
Awful quiet after yesterday's excitement. Any rumors?
Most I've heard is that it was "impressive."

Awesome tweet from the staff.

Well when everyone in your division starts out "ranked" in the top 25 of the preseason polls, and then you only play teams in your division, every loss is a "good loss" and every win is a "great win". It's a self-fulfilling prophecy that ESPN is only too happy to accept.
