Not worried about slow developing gadget plays. Confident that our DL will be in the backfield quick enough to disrupt that. Also confident that Kendall and Facyson are disciplined enough to deal with that. Not worried about Braxton as an H-Back because their H-back from last year is better. And I'm certainly not worried about him as a punt returner, because he probably hasn't returned a punt since maybe his freshman or sophomore year of high school, and don't think he'd be very confident doing that. Meh. I don't think he sees the field that much in week 1. I'm not even sure he's fully healthy. Onward to the next thing...
Doing that would just flood all of those feeds with videos that for the most part aren't anything more than mildly interesting. That's why snapchat is perfect for this. No need for 10 videos of our players doing 3 squat reps
JoePa wasn't going off campus to recruit due to his health and his status was used against him in recruiting. IIRC the last recruit JoePa visited was Terrelle Pryor.
It's always interesting what the cheap, watery beer of choice is in different areas. When I went to grad school in Illinois, Natty Light was nowhere to be found, but cans of Keystone Light littered the front porches of all the frat houses.

They reach their target audience, the under 25 crowd. It's the easiest and fastest way for VT football to reach out to their younger fans. Uploading and posting things to websites takes much more time, this is much more efficient.
Correct and they should do both in fact do every platform from Twitter, to snapchat, to Facebook to Instagram.
Better platforms for Alumni and fans, yeah maybe. But this is what recruit aged dudes use, this is the best platform for them to get exposed to VT through video. It is beyond smart for VT Football to use snapchat as a platform for sharing videos.
The VT Football snapchat's are pretty awesome. Anyone who says I refuse to snapchat is missing out on great content that they literally cannot get any other place. Watching the entire team get hyped around JC Coleman as he front squats big weight was pretty cool.
It's not we don't want to use it or see the content there has to be a better way to put it out there. I use it but the app is not exactly without faults. The same videos could easily be uploaded to better platforms.

Marshall and Wilson were already fast, quick, dynamic playmakers at H-back and Miller has to learn the position from scratch.
not sure if you remember but that was quite the rage at the time...i believe no less than Sean Salisbury, Mike Tirico and Brett Favre did something similar (and I'm sure I'm forgetting some others)...esteemed company

Back in the day in Blacksburt (how we felt on Sundays) it was Milwaukee's Best or Best Light... I believe it was affectionately called Beasty Light. Runners-up were Blatz (just the name makes me spew a little), Busch Light (just a few dollars more, head for the mountains), and Stroh's 30 Packs.
