so many more lols at UVa and Jamil when he gets moved down the depth chart for this guy. HA!
I lived off of Natty Lite, West End Buffalo Chicken Wrap and DX Mac & Cheese. Freshman 15 is an understatement.
Spent a year there and I endorse your post.
Refresh my memory - why do people dislike it?
Yes although some here despise it, it does give you some stuff that you won't get anywhere else! That's the only reason I have snapchat to see some awesome stuff!
intentional or not, this is the reason it's done. Yes, lots of recruits have too much fun with it or in Clausen's case take it way too far but as I said the smart ones know exactly what they are doing. And I know for a fact from my friend's D1 caliber nephew it is exactly what they are doing this year. #sources and all that, but recruits are smart and they know the advantages of self promotion. I don't think you're giving them enough credit.
Its been mentioned but there's a solid portion of TKP that refuse to use it.
I like it. You get to see a bunch "behind the scenes" stuff
*checks calendar frantically*

I think we are on the same page, what I was saying is don't expect him to be used to throw the ball as much as the Meyer H-back. You might see a trick play or two but I suspect you'd see more pitches and design runs that a direct snap or pitch and throw play.
At the end of the day it's still just a shirt. We were in Florida at the time and my employer was affiliated with a food pantry/thrift store that assisted battered women and children. So yeah.

# | Tech Prepares to Host Dozens of Rising Seniors/Juniors for Combination Cookout and Camp Weekend sounds like we may land a few. Don't think any of them will be early contributors though by any means, JMO. Maybe divine diablo if he was to commit.
but they don't always pan out
The caliber of player you listed pan out at an even lower rate, you just listed the ones that did make it
this conversation comes up quite often. If you take a look at our nfl draft picks there is a higher percentage of them that were 4+ stars then 3 stars are lower compared to how many we get of each group. For every walk-on superstar we have there are 20 others that never do more than play on the scout team.
@4VIPSU Accidentally posted a vtfootball snapchat forum topic to alert others and didn't see your post here. My bad, brother!
I have a feeling he will be a Hokie by the end of the weekend.
Cheers, 757er born and raised. Now a 252er
Such is life.
Lets not forget about the Willie Burns, Danny Coales, Chase Williams, and Cody Grimms of the world too. I would rather have the Tinos, but they don't always pan out, Joel Caleb was a 4 star ATH/WR prospect.
I'm not saying that's going to be the only play they run with him. But is he limited so much that he can't throw a ball once a game maybe?? I mean if he can't even endure a throwing motion once in a while (i understand repeated use) then how is he going to hold up to being hit??

# | Tech Prepares to Host Dozens of Rising Seniors/Juniors for Combination Cookout and Camp Weekend If we don't land a single commitment this weekend there is something seriously wrong with our coaching staff... We have all accepted that this is going to be a relatively weak class in comparison to the last two-three but if we can't close on a single prospect this weekend... it's a whole lot worse than I think it is...
He DID get a place at the table...
I don't care what kind of talent he has, I never, ever want a guy like that on my team.
Sometimes I tell myself that big name recruits go elsewhere not because VT coaches didn't work hard enough to recruit them, but because VT coaches discovered that they had an attitude like this tweet and decided to pass. I'll never know, but hey, it makes it easier for me to cope.
finally. well done, mattfan +1

Some good news from the training room finally!

How are you still alive?
