Whistle Pig is one of my two favorite ryes, along with Masterson's. I believe they are the only two that are distilled from 100% rye. Wasn't aware that it was difficult to get in VA
Don't know where else to post this, but it would be amazing to get the student body outfitted in these.

I was hoping there was a teaser.
Like that he has experience against a wing-t offense, should come handy when we play Georgia Tech.
#sources say I'm the #source
Boom. Beat that.
I've been trying to expand my horizons, been going to a bunch of tastings. Recently added Bakers and Angel's Envy to my collection.
I've been trying to get my hands on some Whistle Pig as well but VA ABCs are usually out of it.
I'm the source?!
Probably not, but I don't see why you can't still receive credit as one, lol.
I'm the source?!
That's excellent news. I never knew all the #sources posts were about me.
I feel so special now.

I get what you're saying, and I tend to always be a pessimistic football fan. It makes it easier for me since I have no control over the games. I can also agree there's plenty of guys to be excited about on the team.
But it's tough to convince me that missing out on a recruit that our coaches want doesn't matter and its not worth giving a crap.
My wife and I are in Jacksonville near the beach (yes, you can live in Jacksonville and be an hour+ from the beach). What info do you need?
Well, you did read his tweet and commented referencing it in the same thread as his post. I would think he'd at least give you credit as his source.
He could have done much worse.
Brose before Hoos.
At least the mission accomplished shirts will make more sense this year
I heard this week Stanford is looking to transfer. Forgot where though.

this always reminds me of this picture (NSFW?)
Formulated pap.
Eh, every fall we're gonna see a bunch of kids suit up in Hokie uniforms. Those are the only ones that will matter. Yeah, I may be a bit more or less excited about the current class based on who signs and makes it to campus, but really I could give a crap. It's pretty sad to see so many people crying on message boards because a kid chose (or looks like he's going to choose, for that matter) a different school. Who gives a crap? I went through a good chunk of my life as a Debbie Downer fan, and newsflash: it just wasn't that fun. So y'all just excuse me as I go off and watch more highlights and wait for Billdozer's trailer to drop.
This used to be Bill Brill's rationale for the Roanoke Times' extensive reporting of 'hoo sports back in his day. Well, that and a grudge against a Hokie HC, but I digress. He claimed that polls had shown the Roanoke Times's readership preferred 'hoo news to Hokie news. After I gave him a hard time about it in a letter to the editor, he invited me out for lunch and a beer (I drank two, thanks, just to spite him) at a brew pub in Roanoke to talk about it. He did all the talking, gave me maybe two or three minutes of rebuttal, and regaled me with his life's story and Dook, Dook, Dook. I got a free lunch and an earful, unimpressed with him, but a bit more informed about someone I had just vilified from afar, like many other Hokie fans, a sentiment he found "curious". Only time he ticked me off a bit was when he was pontificating on the "Culture vs Agriculture" that he claimed was the underlying reason for the animosity between loluva and VT. He named other schools as similarly opposed for similar reasons, but that irritated me. But like the man just posted, baseball and basketball have garnered a bunch of bandwagoneers, and our recent problems and seasons haven't engendered a lot of love outside the faithful.
Well dang. I'll just start mentally preparing for disappointment now haha. Maybe by next Friday I'll be at peace with it
A good Country song, yes. Not what's topping the charts lately, though. As far as I can tell, it's pop rock with a southern accent.

I was at that game in the student section. I thought my ear drums were going to explode.
He was supposed to come down to Blacksburg this weekend, said he can't make it.
Doesn't bode well for us.
EDIT: Was going to edit and add Alex's tweet but he beat me to it and posted it soooooooo nevermind.
NOooooo...the ghost of Duke Johnson still haunts Lane. If not for knocking himself out of the game running into a bench, he could have rushed for 300 yards.

Bourbon: Jefferson's Reserve 18yr
Scotch: Ardbeg Uigaedail
Rum: Zaya Gran Reserva
Tequila: Don Julio 1942 Anejo
Beer: Burton Baton, Local Species, and Backwoods Bastard (until The Great'er Pumpkin comes out)
Notice that all of these products are aged in bourbon barrels....that is the essence of excellence.
