The pay info is essentially "both sides are hearing the same thing, one of them is true." People have made assumptions off of that.
I hope he says "I don't fear the turtle. I'm going to Virginia Tech."
And yes, I'm aware of the irony considering what happened the last game. So don't bother pointing that out.
Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened.
If you get a VT transfer it's right into the round of 16 you go
It's at his school or something like that.
While we're complimenting Joe on the updates to this site, can I just say that not showing how many downvotes a comment has was the greatest decision of all time. I think I've seen about 3 people bitch about their downvotes in the last 6 months or so. Brilliant!
He stated not too long ago that the announcement would most likely be at his school now. So hope that's a good sign.
cut it off where you did.
Obligatory mancringe
It wasn't the ultimate tease but it was at least on par with your favorite show as a kid being advertised as being "later".
Does anyone know where it is taking place? Last I heard it was at a bar in college park, which would seem to suggest he would commit to umd, but I know that info is from a while back
Whose side are you on!?

EDIT: the "reply" button eluded me again, my bad.
If a kid synced up his highlights to The Trooper by Iron Maiden, he'd have an offer in his hands before the end of his video.
while VT had the more popular football coach
...its almost painful that this had to be stated...
Brock Samson? Oof. I don't need to hear anymore. Poor little guy.
Winning in basketaball and baseball somewhat brings them onboard.
Brewer got that guys vote this year.
I'm not going to make another topic about this but this also makes you laugh. Title of the article is "New poll says there are more UVA fans than VT fans in Virginia." Check it out...

That Clemson game was the first game I brought my parents to see at Tech. Fond memories.
Less experience before his injury, and recovery still a little unpredictable.
Looking forward to him beating expectations.
We already had threads on that. I was trying to avoid the possible mistakes of the people involved.
Leg to you, sir!
What's going to propel Virginia Tech to success is a fan base that demands it. Virginia Tech has that, regardless of how long Beamer stays.
VT has the facilities, the interest, and the fan base that is hungry for improvement. Keep the hope alive, and it's just a matter of time.
Beamer has rebuilt the program, deserves the chance to see the rebuild through, and go out the way he wants.
wait, you're a woman? [downvotes post automatically]

Perfect segue into an SB Nation article that came out today. The relevant quote from Spurrier that seems to be the source of his problems:
Give me two or three more (years). I used to say four or five, now I'm down to two or three.
The fact that he "admits" he won't be around for a new recruit's entire college career does seem to be negatively affecting his recruiting.

After seeing some reports that Tino would be coming back to Tech this weekend, I checked with him to see if that was still the case. It seems it isn't anymore.
