Love it. One less to prepare for at QB. Fud's Bud's play calling just got less complicated. Granted, I understand that Brax will be a threat in the slot, but I feel as if he would have been worse coming out of the backfield with our safties and DB's backs turned and him running for 50+ yards all game.
EDIT: Not that the other two are not a threat to run, but I feel better about containment.
So, we should expect some trickery..

Wow. I honestly didn't see this coming. Not having watched him play, I wondered why so many OSU reader boards were bearish on his chances at earning the starting nod this fall. I wish the best for him. I think having this info now will only help our coaches and defense prepare. Having beaten #15 (Barrett) once already, our chances of winning just increased in my mind. This game might include some trickery on their part, though. Having Miller and Barrett in the game at the same time could present some confusing looks.
This should be a surprise to no one.

Miller's fallback plan has become a reality, as he told SI.com on Thursday night that he plans to start the 2015 season playing H-Back—a hybrid receiver position—for the Buckeyes. Miller hasn't completely closed the door on playing quarterback, as he estimates that he'll spend 80% of the time during training camp at receiver and 20% with the quarterbacks. But Miller said with more than two months until he'll be completely healthy at quarterback, he's approaching this season as primarily a wide receiver.
"For the most part, it's going to be H-Back and punt return," Miller said in a phone interview on Thursday night. "It's a long process to get back totally to throwing and throwing every day. This is the smarter thing for right now, God blessed me with a lot of talent and different opportunities. I'm going to have fun with that and still score a lot of touchdowns and help the team out and be dominant at that."
This move was on the table, so it's not too big of a surprise. If I had to speculate, if he would have been completely healthy for the start of OSU's camp, I bet the chances of him transferring would be higher.
For some reason I just get this feeling that there needs to be a senior correspondent for VT women's athletics here on TKP. And if that job pays enough for a shitty apartment, beer money and a press pass with expenses for away game travel I feel like I could do that job and be happy. Go lady hokies.

That's probably best for him. Insane athleticism, jacked up throwing shoulder, need for a deep threat, hard to argue.
Makes sense. He wasn't going to win the starting job, nor was he going to have a pro career at QB. This way he can learn the position for a year then be ready to go at WR once he gets drafted.
Speaking of this weekend... Could be a fun one.

I seem to recall he got the crap kicked out of him by anOSU and Purdue. Too lazy to look it up, just remember playback from ESPN (anOSU) and headline in the papes (Purdue).
I agree that DJ White is good, but not better than those three. Also, even if you include White and Canady at UVA, there were 50 votes for other players. I realize a lot of voters go on potential in these preseason lists, but that's pretty hard to rationalize to me. That being said, I lost faith in how the ACC media in these things a while ago, particularly after the 5th or 6th best defense in the ACC last year (FSU) had 7 guys voted all-acc while the best defense in the country (Clemson) only had 4.
I wouldnt even look forward to this announcement, just read here later that he chose the Terps. That feeling sucks
I will add pictures on Sunday. I fished from 5:00AM to 4:00PM on Avalon Pier after driving all night from NOVA. I caught a really nice Spanish Mackerel right at sunrise. Otherwise there plugging bite was non-existsant. I gave up and used a sibiki to catch a handful of pigfish to run on my live bait rig. These certainly were not ideal, but I couldn't even buy a bluefish, menhaden, spot, or threadfin to run on the rig. I saw one big flounder caught, and a guy fishing near the surf caught about a dozen really nice sea mullet (whiting for non-locals) on live sand fleas.
As always happens when I have crap bait, we started to see large pods of cobia following big carpet rays around 11:30am. I got four good shots at keeper fish (20 pounders) with my bucktail and they refused to eat it. It didn't help that 3 or more bucktails came splashing down every time more than one person saw the ray with 3 or 4 big cobia following it. I even had one rush my pigfish, but when he realized it was a crap pigfish and not a tasty morsel, he turned away.
Finally my friend Jake managed an u encumbered shot at a pod of fish off the south side, and he got a 19.6 pounder to eat. I gaffed his fish for him (my first pier gaff shot in several years.) I am glad I didn't screw it up.)
Back to the planks in the AM.

Looking at it, the same poll indicated that only 13% of UVA fans disapprove of Mike London's coaching and 37% approve along with 50% who "aren't sure". Also, 42% "aren't sure" if Tony Bennett is doing a good job or not. Some fans. Sounds like a lot of folks identify as Hoo fans but don't bother to watch their teams...
coach, well you might ask. It actually happened after '87 because that's when I moved back to Giles County, but, nah, I guess I just took the free beer, free food, and lunch with a self important icon of the journalistic persuasion as a reason to take a pass on slapping the old guy. I already didn't like him, he already didn't care...I'd kinda forgotten the whole thing until this thread woke the synapse. The idea does have appeal, however, and I would have gotten some serious props with a lot of Hokies who hated him, but I guess I let the team down. Sorry coach, bench me.
I think you got this backwards. Bud doesn't prepare for opposing QBs, opposing Qbs prepare for Bud.
