Because college playing experience (even JUCO) > high school playing experience. What if someone gets seriously hurt or transfers? Do we really want to wait until the 2017 season to hopefully bring in another true freshman quarterback and throw him to the wolves? I'm not saying we should sign him no matter what, but there's no harm in keeping an eye on him and seeing how his JUCO season goes.
I'm guessing the cable companies would come up with the most severe repercussions possible if ESPN were to do this. I mean, they can't throttle your bandwidth to the service, but I'm sure negotiations for including ESPN in cable packages would be very hostile.
AnOSU fans can get crazy especially the ones who didn't go to school there. They HATED Urban, Called him Urban Crier. The number of people who think anOSU will hang more than 40 is crazy.

They are friendly and usually reasonable, but it seems like a lot of them think they are opening with Purdue or something instead of the team that beat them last year. 'Oh and if Urban doesn't hang 80 on that bear front...' (paraphrase)
Wade Hansen is slotted to be the starter this year. Obviously that situation is a bit different given he transferred in as a D-Lineman not sure if the transfer was given knowing he would be switching to the O-Line.

# | 2015 Preseason Virginia Tech Football Depth Chart as of June 1 Chuck Clark listed ahead of Facyson is interesting and a big bold OR next to the KO slot must mean that its undecided. Not sure if I like the burning of a potential RS for Mook if he is only going to return kicks. Is there a good chance he sees the field at nickel this year?

# | 2015 Preseason Virginia Tech Football Depth Chart as of June 1 Two most interesting things to me are:
1. Terrell Edmunds was the backup rover behind Reavis.
2. Ryan Malleck AND Bucky Hodges. Usually the coaches use "OR" denote a 1a, 1b situation. The "AND" might imply two tight ends will be Tech's base offensive look.
He somehow reverse-Gentry'd and lost about 20 pounds this season. He was down to 180 during the spring, and I think how much he's managed to gain back by the start of fall camp will be pretty telling as to what his role will be the next year or two.

It hits me that we look pretty thin on the OL. We have two true freshman and a recent convert from tight end as the backups.
And based on this list we definitely have the advantage when it comes to BBQing. I don't know anyone likes the rubber tire flavor NJ and WV add from smoking their shoulders over a trash fire.
Totally OT, drove through Tappahannock yesterday on my way back to Mathews. Gasoline could be had for $2.29. With fishing like that and gas so cheap, I'm wondering if I moved too far south.
Flounder fishing has really picked up in the middle Bay. Limits and some doormats are showing up in the usual places. Cobia continue to get a lot of attention. I have missed some good fishing while traveling, missed some days out because of wind/wave forecasts, and heat index warning days. Yet another reason to be looking forward to football season and the coming fall weather. If/when I finally get a doormat, I promise to make myself take the time to figure out the imgur thing.

It's a private Rod and Gun Club over in King and Queen county, near Tappahannock. 3 smaller lakes that are well maintained and connected to the state hatchery.

Well... that's not true. They return 14/15 starters, we return 16 starters (not including punter/kicker), and UNC returns 17/18 starters depending on who you ask. Not sure where that info is from unless they meant to say (U)NC.

I think its in ESPN's best interest (and then by association, the ACC's) to create an ESPNow type streaming service that mirrors what HBO Now is trying to accomplish. A monthly fee and you can stream the channels and it breaks being forced to pay for a cable provider. I could easily see myself only paying for internet, HBO Now, and ESPNow instead of buying a ridiculously expensive cable plan, just to get ESPNU for a random noon-er the Hokies may have.

thinking out loud-- Could Bucky possibly be that 3rd WR/slot guy? The match up vs a LB would be easy pickings for us and if they moved a S/CB over to cover him then its 1v1 for Ford or Phillips..
I do know Burden has been talking a lot about Knowles so maybe he is starting to get it so he could be 3rd.
