"Kendall Fuller is the third member of his immediate family to represent Virginia Tech at an ACC Football Kickoff. Older brothers Vincent (2004) and Kyle (2012) made previous trips." -from ACC Media Day blog

On Mike London. "...if you're going to recruit one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country...Hampton roads of Virginia ...you need to start winning, and you need to start having winning records. And you know what you also need to do? Beat Virginia Tech at least once in a decade."

[probably taylor zharzour, if not then greg McElroy]

I always prefer the British crews to the American crews for soccer commentary. This will probably be my strategy moving forward for the World Cup, if I can find a broadcast I can get.

I'm not real close (Salisbury area) but if you guys make down this way let me know. I'm near Tall Tales, Evolution, Rubber Soul (just opened, was brewer at Dogfish for 7 years) and RAR (they did a grapefruit nectar IPA that blew the Grapfruit sculpin out of the water.)

When your measuring stick for success is beating your instate rival once a decade, you blow. Or you're UVA. Or both.

That makes sense. Just seems i remember him being 200+ when he got on campus.

This is the only thing I could find. I'm not sure if there is anything VT specific out there.

don't know if these are updated from spring. Might be Fall #'s/weights

Is there any way to listen to the interviews they are giving/getting the Hokie football Twitter account keeps showing Fuller and Brewer or Burnop and Laaser in a booth but doesn't say how to listen to them.

Have they managed to pull themselves away from the golf, free bar and buffet yet?

I am in Rosslyn and am quite intereested. I have this year's Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout. As a recent grad I don't have a great cellar. But, I am a home brewer as well. I have a couple home brews I've had ageing for at least a year.

Anybody else smell fresh cut grass this time of year and have their mind snap to the thought of two a days?

brrrr....some things haunt you for your entire life.

Listening to XM 91. NC State most returning starters in ACC.

He engineered the rally against Boston College that was substantial but ultimately came up short. He made some big throws late against Duke after struggling early. And he rallied the troops against Virginia after separating his shoulder, a pain that would've knocked most quarterbacks out. Brewer's a tough son of a gun and he leads. Those are two qualities on the check list for a starting quarterback. Now he needs to be smarter about where he goes with the ball.

Couldn't agree more, Andy. So much respect for the toughness of this kid.

It's the endless echo chamber that bothers me the most. The 24 hour news cycle leads them to more and more sensational "reporting." Every game is the most important ever. Every player is the best ever. Every scandal is the worst ever. The shock becomes shtick and I've just walked away.
