A five star committed while another five star athlete facing criminal charges, that sounds like the FSU I'm used to.
Clark is going to play in the safety position so moving him to rover still leaves a vacancy in the secondary.
Assuming Holland Fisher still can't play safety?
If the lawyer is saying there is no criminal charge, the only thing I can think of is cheating in some fashion. But even that doesn't seem to be enough to just be removed from the university immediately.
If Facyson is playing corner, Chuck was going to play the other safety alongside Reavis. I like Donovan Riley as the next option, personally.

But then again I guess we could be FSU....
Understood, I was just trying to have people think before commenting, was not pointed at anyone in particular. I just don't want a blog comparing (alleged) charges... which I probably did a poor job of wording.
I think it should be noted that there are already some obvious differences between this situation and the De'Andre Johnson incident. We can't just lump all assaults on women at bars by FSU football players together. Every situation is different warranting different consequences. There are nuances that must be considered when handing out punishment for things like this. For instance, while Johnson was a third string QB, Cook is an All-American RB. This is a very important distinction to make and will be given due consideration when determining the direction of this investigation by the Tallahassee PD and the prosecutors...

# | Bitter blog - Safety C.J. Reavis not enrolled at VT, appealing student conduct decision It sounded like Beamer had some idea this was coming. Or could be coming, at least. Hopefully this isn't as big of a shock to the coaches as it is to us.
welp
Once again: Refusing to jump to any conclusions on something before the facts are known:

I think this is more about how he's done the same thing another Seminole just got kicked off the team for, immediately after Jameis 'Walking Violation' Winston left campus. If he was the only FSU athlete to have gotten in trouble recently, my response would be 'Sounds like an asshole. Whatever.' But when you've got 3 guys... it's a trend.
Chuck Clark... as Fayscon if 100% back would play that other corner spot.. if not Clark mayeb Frye or could we see younger Edmunds get pushed there?
I too am 27, and I admittedly looked it up before posting just to make sure I didn't make an arse of myself. I'm pretty damn sure that there aren't any girls out there under 18 trying to get laid who can spell "curriculum vitae" so I maintain that it is a pretty safe bet to ask that as a qualifier right off the bat.
Back in 1912 some of Frank's ancestors on his mothers side shot up a court house, so it is in his blood.
Beamer's grandfather, Barnett Allen, then just 21, was charged and acquitted in connection with the incident, but the state executed Beamer's great uncle and a cousin and sentenced several other family members to decades in prison.

Postulate: football news in July is never good news.
If Reavis doesn't return, Virginia Tech could look to a number of different players to fill the rover position, including senior Donovan Riley, junior Desmond Frye, redshirt sophomore Anthony Shegog, redshirt freshman Terrell Edmunds or true freshman Adonis Alexander.

Careful now gentlemen... I just finished reading something similar. http://www.thekeyplay.com/virginia-tech-football/2015/07/9580/report-sus...
FSU edumacation... now seeing there will be a warrant for arrest out there.
Wow. How dumb can you be? I mean.... Wow.
Here's a quote from ESPN:
"They kept telling me they were football players," the woman said. "They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years."
What about 2010? Tyrod's senior season. We had the absolute worst start to a season. Maybe ever (I mean, first Boise, and then the JMU debacle... ugh). Left for dead. Then we rallied to run unbeaten through the ACC. David Wilson was electric. Kick returns. Jayron pick-sixes all day. Tyrod being Tyrod-ey. It was a high-octane VT offense with speed all over the field. Shame it ended like it did in the Orange Bowl, but the ride was certainly a lot of fun.

It said he is not enrolled which means that it could be a semester or two semester suspension as listed in Fireman's post
