That said, pretty much the only thing that'll get ya kicked out besides being thrown in jail is to be caught cheating red handed.
Ill be honest the first in anyway competitive game of basketball I watched all the way through was the 2010 Duke upset so I really don't care about the NBA.
NHL hard core Flyers fan and will fight any Devils or Rangers fans who have it coming. Grew up playing roller hockey as a kid so it was for a long time my big sport.
Baseball Ive been pretty down on since getting 3 teeth knocked out as a kid, if the Phillies winning wasn't enough to get me on board I just don't think its for me.
So it really does come down to the NFL and the NHL being my only two pro sports. I DO actually live in Ashburn now and can understand why so many people from all over moving here can get up with the Nats, just don't feel it myself.
But in the larger picture my sports enjoyment goes.
1. Hokie Football
2. The rest of college football
3. All other Hokie sports
4. NASCAR
5. NFL
6. Everything else.
7. Whatever Sports Center wants me to see
8. Imagining how long it will take for UVA to recover from the Mike London era

I'm with you. Out here in AZ we get the ESPN radio feed at odd times (for the national shows like Mike & Mike and Colin). Whenever I am in my car and Cowherd is on, then ESPN is off.
The guy never says anything really remotely interesting, and makes the entire show about him in some way.
I watch ESPN for the World Cup, CFB, and 30 for 30s.
Bring in ND and make a deal with NBC. They have a sports network now, so they could broadcast CFB games nationwide on one broadcast (NBC) and one cable channel (NBC Sports) all day long like ESPN does.
Dalvin Cook, RB, is the next one to have an investigation started for battery....

I hit 65 in a couple of months, and I concur. And no, I don't think that's a bad perspective. It's a natural one. While we might wish to be able to be younger again, they can only hope to grow old. I wish them all the luck and half the pain.
According to many experts over at TSL, its starting to look very likely that we're going to go 0-fer with the Top 10 in the Commonwealth in recruiting this year.
Not good.

The first implies that Turk is getting the business of the athletes, not of the University and the second implies that the decision on whether or not he represents the athletes is up to the athletes.
I was already on board with Jon, trusting the powers that be to pick a worthy successor to a legend, but I feel even better after listening to this podcast. Jon seems like regular folk, but with an obvious talent for wordsmithing and description. It sounds like he understands the XXXXL shoes Bill Roth left for him to try to fill, and it seems like he is psyched for the task, but in a confident and professional way. The importance of his position may be difficult to comprehend for some of us, but he seems to understand that it's not just about calling the game. My best wishes and sincere hopes for his success.
