Man, things like this remind me how much I miss Blacksburg. Wish I could've been there today.
Anyone got a link to the replay?
Brings tears to my eyes to see TKPers come together...
legs to both of you
Whit is killing it. But I thought the whole issue was the VT athletics was basically out of money.
That's what I took from the Ballein Interview about the AD position. He pretty much said the Indoor Facility was a pipe dream we shouldn't chase now because we had no money and should hire more staff first.
Seems like Whit said "Phuck that, I'm gonna do both"
Somehow he's finding the money. Could be those fat cat donors that have gotten turned away (the same ones that used to buy the unsold tickets and football games perhaps) were courted pretty damn hard for the extra money to get shit done.
She's pregnant now. Congrats bud !
I have seen Oasis five times live. Met Noel and hung out with the lead singer of Cornershop during the 98 tour in Pittsburgh. Met Fran Healy (lead singer for Travis) when they opened for Oasis in Columbus during the 2000 tour.
With the exception of their last show at Merriweather Post (outdoor venues are terrible) it was always a stellar show.
Don't sleep on Don't Go Away. Great track even though Be Here Now was a lousy album.
First time I lol'd reading a post on TKP, didn't expect that ending. Turkey leg for you, sir.
This is awesome, thanks!
In such a great mood that just made me give everyone a turkey leg! We need more events like this!
The pic is already my avatar but I want to post it as large as possible.
Whit's all like "it ain't no thang"

Whit mentioned this during the press conference...a lot of credit has to go to Jim Weaver. While we've griped about this in the past, Jim did a good job of being fiscally responsible for years and developing the athletic department's nest egg....It allowed Whit to throw down the thundercock, if you will
I loved how his energy was infectious, can't wait to see how he motivates the players! All in all, I walked away extremely happy with 3 full pizzas( 1 pizza hut, 1 papa john's, and 1 dominoes), a picture with Buzz, and an opportunity to walk on the court / see my roommate dunk. 'Twas a good day for sure!
Yeah, his ankle is still pretty jacked up. Hopefully that'll get sorted out sooner rather than later.
He was at McComas after the press conference (at least I think it was him). Had a boot on one of his legs.
I am a huge fan of CJ! I sometimes end up sitting next to him in Music in America and he is easy to talk to.

My son and I watched his highlights 2 mths ago.
Very impressive stuff.
We can wish, right?
