don't make me pick 10 seeing oasis live was one of the most satisfying days of my life. So happy I saw them before they split... now that they've split though I must say I'm pretty happy with both of their individual efforts NGHB are really good and beady eye have been MUCH better than I thought they'd be

I admit that I am jealous of those of you that got to go. I would equate the atmosphere to be similar to 1995 when Tech made its first Sugar Bowl. Tech was a madhouse back then because we had never really known success of that magnitude with the football team. Seems like there are a lot of similarities and I would have just loved the opportunity to interact with Buzz and Whit like has been described above. That darn real world and having a job and stuff, sometimes its just no fun.
I just realized during an interview that this will be CJ Barksdale's 3rd coach in his 4 years at Tech. Have to give him credit for staying no matter what. Definition of a Hokie, I look for him to have a great senior season.
Only so many pizza ovens in the Roanoke Valley when you need 900 pies!!

It was a pretty questionable hit (late and high) by Motuapuaka at 1:02 in that HS highlight, but OH MY GOD HE GOT ROCKED!
Nice call on DMX. My son wrote & performed the music on two cuts on DMX's latest release. Sadly, the release did not do well, but hell yeah, I'm proud!

Here is the JUCO stats profile on Willie Atwood so people can get more familiar with him. Not sure how accurate these are as some of the stats are hinky, like his 2.1 minutes per game. In 31 games it looks like he averaged 10.6 PPG, 6.1 RPG, shot 57% from the field, 70% from the free throw line. This says to me that he takes high percentage shots in the paint and has the ability to convert at the free throw line on an acceptable basis to possibly start next year. He would be coming in as a Junior with one year remaining after that.
