I am getting a really warm and fuzzy feeling about the direction the program is taking since WB has taken over. Sometimes change is a good thing, hopefully time will tell, but the future right now seems to be looking pretty healthy. GO HOKIES!

In the Navy (in my last squadron at least) if we're in our weekly wardroom meeting and a phone goes off they are usually fined $5. That goes towards the next wardroom outing to add to the food/drinks. It's amazing how a rule like that actually works pretty well. There may or may not be people who try to call phones just for fun...just saying
Good point that you mentioned 1 year; this kid has overall #1 pick and NBA all-star written all over him.
His speed, his jumper and of course his height make this kid look like he could make the jump to the NBA after his sophomore season...of high school!
Seriously though, even if only for one year, Thon Maker could do to our basketball program what Michael Vick did for our football program. Even if it's still not likely, it's incredible to think we even have a chance to bring this kid in now that we have Buzz, whereas just a week ago I would have thought even trying to go after him would just be a huge waste of our time.

Imagine not only what we can do with a basketball staff with a real budget, but with MORE football coaches! Our recent recruiting has been thriving, and more coaches on the trail will only boost that success.

They are called Player Development Personnel, or something like that. It stems from Ballein's interview then to Bud's interview. Apparently most programs have a hefty staff of non-coaching personnel that focus on recruitment, coordination and all manner of things that free up the coaching staff's time.
VT has the smallest football staff in the ACC.

In addition to facilities, Ballein said Tech needs additional football staff to keep up with ACC rivals. The NCAA limits Bowl Subdivision programs to nine full-time assistant coaches, but there is no cap on player development personnel.
We have the smallest football staff in the ACC, Ballein said, and not many people know that.
French you to me have just ascended to a greatness that is unprecedented. Seriously they are my all time favorite and Noels TCT version of don't go away is beautiful. Oh what I would do to meet noel Gallagher!!!! I saw them at the patriot center at George mason during their last tour.
And to be quite honestly I actually kinda like be here now, its nothing compared to definitely maybe, morning glory, or don't believe the truth but I think its better through and through than standing on the shoulder of giants and dig out your soul. Have you ever listened to some of their B-sides? How some of those didn't make their CDs ill never know. One thing that really disappointed me however with noel's solo CD was the lack of new material. I had I think 3 out of 10 of those songs before the cd even came out. I wanna live in a dream with my record machine was a B-sides released with stop the clocks, stop the clocks was the other B-sides with that one, and noel had performed everybody's on the run live prior to oasis even splitting...gah sorry I'm ranting but its nice to talk oasis every once in a while
