A former NCAA athlete here, its common sense to leave/put your phone on vibrate when going to a team meeting. Especially when its with a brand new coach that just got hired, no Buzz wasn't looking to single this kid out. If I remember correctly the kids dad said oh he wants to transfer because Buzz called him "soft".. I'm sure Buzz was asked about his potential and he told the coaches the truth, which is not what Trevor "Tiara" Thompson wanted to hear. Lets quit when the going gets tough, heck he wouldn't even survive 1 day with Gentry or even Bud.
I think so. RVD is such a good cover guy that they can keep him on the field every down if needed, assuming he is healthy of course.
The UVA fan I work with has even admitted multiple times that Bud is the man.
The infection in the surgical incision point is a big problem. I hope they take their time with his recovery.

Clarke and DVD completely shut down the first team Hokie running game behind the number 2 DL in the spring game. They were way too quick for the offensive line to square up on.
Just goes to show that in the past, every game we play we're plagued with watching 2 teams that cannot find the endzone.
One team because of Bud. The other team because of Stiney.
Usually I determine a player is soft if he can't finish with contact, doesn't play tough defense, or doesn't go for rebounds. Could be some combination of that too.
I still remember having to do Prison Break Drills at my elementary school when my Dad was stationed there for the Army. They have a military, federal and state prison all within like four miles of each other.
This, this is the reason why that guy at the party was a low information voter.

So Whit and Frank have 3-5 years to plan this.
What 6 ft. 10 in. high school senior, always been leading scorer and the man dropping in 3's instead of mixing it up down below with big boys if he ever played against any wouldn't be considered soft.

No one calls a player soft because of his skill set, or at the very least they shouldn't. There had to be something else going on with his game that Williams saw as a toughness liability.
Probably where I saw it as well, as I have that issue framed somewhere as well.
What really impresses me is that almost every year the team is better ranked in scoring defense than total defense.
