*Puts on O&M glasses
What about after we win the national championship?!?!
EDIT: JK, that would technically be in 2015
WHAT DID WHIT SAY????
Seriously, guys, it was like 3 days ago. Paraphased: Don't listen to rumors or "leaks," cause they all happen for someone's own selfish reasons. Wait until we hear the official word.
I'm confused......you don't like it when West Virginia gets dissed?

Take a good look, folks. That's the one time in 2014 he'll smile.
edit: someone already commented on the BC link. whoops
And then this occurred:

I would be perfectly fine with this being the result as well because I agree with you. The ref should be able to tell if they are going for the steal versus just smacking someone. If they think its an attempt at the steal, than its a normal foul. If its just a smack, its intentional and should be treated with a technical. I believe two technical's and you are out of the game, so that would also discourage coaches from having players get technical fouls even if they only have 1 personal foul in the game so far.
I like this idea much better than my three free throws. It makes more sense and would be much more cleanly done. Ball should automatically advance to the front court in this kind of situation.
I got to go to see Manchester United play Arsenal the 2005 FA Cup final at Millennium Stadium. That place was insane, and the game went the full 90 minutes without a score and then the entire 30 minutes of Extra time as well. It was the first time in like 100 years that an FA final had been a scoreless draw decided by penalty kicks. Arsenal pulled it out but Man U should have scored at least a half dozen goals in that game. Wayne Rooney had at least three chances that were essentially one on ones with the keeper and couldn't finish it.
You would think hokiesports would have a story about it. Something the national press could pick up.
In the UK this would of been printed in one of those tabloid papers and that would of been it. As we know, the US is very archaic in it's views on sex.
Agreed HokieAlum
I was denied financial aid because my parents "made too much money"... Fortunately, my dad was able to find loans through the AARP at an awesome interest rate (Around 2% fixed)
So he's Seth Greenberg with a better track record of getting to the dance in am arguably tougher conference?
SIGN ME UP
And say what you want about Buzz. He is a class act through and through.
I hadn't because his name hadn't come up but I will give him a look and let you know what I think.
I gotta' agree with this. He danced across the floor and there is a giant logo in the middle of it.
you probably didn't hear much about it because Media was locked out of it
They posted a short video on Hokiesports.com.
Hooray for baseball stat heads! I could talk baseball numbers for hours on end
Did not see any national coverage of the Hokies Pro Day. None of the major media sites give it any mention. Glad Andy was there and TKP has some coverage or I would never know it happened. Even hokiesports.com does not mention it. WTH?
I can't see your graphic and probably won't be able to load the other thread. Have you considered U of Albany's coach? Hearing a lot about that team living hear in the area; they have had some success last few years. Team plays with passion.
my opinion is that you're reaching on this one. he didn't seek out the logo and stomp on it.
Could Whitfield be saying that he completed 56 to 59 passes, rather than 56 of 59 passes?
I listened to what Feinstein said and it sounded really third party or more to me. If he was directly talking to these guys I might put more stock in it, but he didn't even know Whit's name, and he intimated that Whit is using Mick Cronin as a pseudo basketball consultant, and that Mick and Buzz Williams are friends. It really sounded as if he was talking to a few other reporters/sports analysts that are passing along the information.
I worry that a coach getting paid $2.8 million a year being unhappy with the administration could be another Greenberg situation in the making, not necessarily the way it was handled but just the back and forth between coach and other employees.
Buzz Williams has been very successful as a coach though, making the NCAA every year until this season in a loaded Big East environment. The weird thing is that this season with a lot less competition in the new Big East, his team had a mediocre 17-11 (9-6) record.
I wouldn't be opposed to the hire but Whit would have to realize that he is dealing with a Giant Ego and all that goes with it. And his sideline antics are notorious. Just do an image search for Buzz Williams and see how few are him in a professional looking head shot versus him jumping up and down on the sideline. He is a sports photographers dream.

Still won't happen until January of 2015.
