From my understanding, there are some moving on, and others not, but it's not as big of "news" recently. I'd have to do a little more research into it, which frankly I don't want to research any further on something with LOLUVA, but there was more to it than what is even posted on that Wiki.

You could probably type 'Teresa Sullivan Scandal' into Google and find out the worst parts about it. If I recall correctly, she was ousted not for just any old disagreement, but for practices that border on illegality (not exactly illegal, but should be). I don't remember everything as I was too busy with my own life at the time to pay that much attention, but I remember thinking to myself that only UVA would rehire someone they fired for doing something so wrong. I do Improv and for a while, she and that whole situation was a running gag.

I watched basically identical basketball three times over last night. Every two-possession game takes on the same character - just foul and hope you can come back. It's horribly boring to watch. I had a radical thought while watching, similar to what you're saying about increasing the penalty. These intentional fouls are clearly not done in any effort to play the ball, so why the heck aren't they flagrant fouls? I say enforce those rules. That would make the last 2:00 or so way more interesting in close games, such that teams are actually forced to play defense rather than just slap somebody.

That would be a fantastic homerun of a hire.

I'm not happy with the administration at my work either. Wish VT would offer me a job...

I think he would be a good fit with how JJ tried to build this team with run and gun guys that can shoot.

I was listening to ESPN Radio last week and this game was a common upset alert. The analysts I heard from all thought this was a really bad match up for Oklahoma. They also drew a lot of attention to Dayton/OSU. Seemed to be a pretty common theme.

Yesterday at around 12 I feared that I made a mistake picking OU over NDSU. And I did.

I remember him on the bench when I was there-he got some signficant minutes playing, but those teams at that time were pretty stacked-Everhart was more of a role player.
Big ole' lunky guy who played hard for the Hokies.
If I am correct, he went straight on to graduate assistant, and was always going into coaching.
Not a sexy name, but neither was 'Beamer' when he was hired.

I guess I'm the only one, but I am really interested to know how Jake Johnson did. I remember being absolutely stoked about this guy and pissed when he left. Actually, I thought he left on bad terms, so good to see that was not the case.

Other than that, I especially like the irony of Journell's comments:

I'm assuming he means mentally tough to come back after being dismissed, but I find it humorous that he uses that term when he made so many boneheaded decisions. And the odds are only stacked against him because he did the stacking. Good luck to him though and glad he seems to have turned the corner.
