Its all based on the ***** though (you know,,,garbage in, garbage out). That is the issue. I'm not saying that the analysis is garbage, that is a valid approach, its just the basis of the input data that is suspect. Its all subjective data, so no real objectivity exists, though the analysis tries to do that...
I think the VT recruiting depth comment is accurate.
But, we owe you some pie for the effort. Here:
I'm from the same town as his wife, who teaches at Galax HS. She's a VT alumn, and her dad is as well (you should see all of the VT magnets on his car). So basically, Dixon has no choice but to convert to VT! Very nice people, BTW.

Although our d used to get pumped up when one of them made an awesome play or a big hit and now that has seemed to occur less and less. I used to love the swarming d that we had and everyone would be pumped up. I think it helps the defense and the crowd out. When you get a bit hit or big play on d and the guy just gets up and walks away it seems as if the d lacks intensity at times and just happened to get lucky on that play.
When You hire Real Coaches, You get real results. These new coaches has made a mockery out of the three that was let go, as far recruiting goes. And what I seen out of the WRs and our Offensive last year , they can coach too. Dern shame Frank Beamer had to be forced into getting rid of his buddy and a bad OL coach to prove what real coaches can do. Sherman left on his own but his Replacement has lite up VT so far on both parts of his job. And Loeffler has done the same on getting quality players to VT in JUST one year on the job.

Excellent review. If Loeffler can correct Durkin's mechanics we might have a real dogfight on our hands for the starting QB job among several talented players. That definitely does not suck.

Ford deliberately downplayed his own recruitment, told teams straight up he wasn't interested, and generally ducked hype. Not saying that would've resulted in more 'stars' but it would've certainly resulted in more big-name offers being reported. (I figure he had several offers beyond VT, Temple and UMass that just were never reported to the media.)
Gotta love coach Dixon. A Hoo that loves the Hokies.
Not sure if it was clear, but National Underclassmen (NUC) / Next Level 757 is a 7on7 league not just another 7on7 team.
