Gotcha. So it would hypothetically work that way if you signed a basketball player and he ended up playing for the football team. So say Alabama signed a guy that they were going to grayshirt to the basketball team and then sat him at the end of the bench until next football season?

(Im sorry, I am clearly really missing football season and coming up with hypotheticals like an 8 year old)

Only a backup because Oak Hill like most of the top prep schools recruit in a top player at each position every class. Additionally his talent level is such that he is essentially splitting equal time with the starting senior. Oak Hill puts a majority of their graduating players onto DI programs

A non football related angle, and I'm sure all gay people have to deal with this to some degree, but apparently his father is struggling with this. Not only his son being gay but the fact that there's a gay NFL player, from the article: "He told the newspaper that late Hall of Famer Deacon Jones, the leader of the Rams' Fearsome Foursome who is credited with terming the word sack, "is turning over in his grave."

I mean I guess give the guy some time but it's sad people would still think that way.

As long as Tyrod doesn't have some personal vendetta against uva then I think there is nothing wrong with it. People are dogging the Breds because of the "adults" running the 7v7 program have personal vendettas against Virginia Tech because we gave them some "cold shoulder" or whatever. They need to act more like adults to these kids instead of participating in a revenge/hate circle against a school. They are acting like kids themselves, in my opinion.

If all these kids want to go to UVA so be it.

It's a great idea. I remember when I was picking a college to go to. I visited UVA, VCU, and then Tech. I was in love instantly with the Tech's campus and the food . It was an easy decision after that. I now have no regrets . Hopefully the campus can charm Darell like it did so many proud hokies.
