I will give you all the answers to your questions, but I'm busy for the next 48 hours. I'll be back and let you know the future of VT football.

I wouldn't be surprised one way or the other for either of them. Recent reports suggest that Nnadi may be leaning more towards the Hokies again, but really it's anyone's guess where the two of them end up. The good news is that we've only got to endure another day and a half of this.

I saw JC tweeted that he's trying to get up to about 200 pounds before next season. If he adds some power, he could very well surprise some of us. I know I'm in the minority, but I definitely saw some things I liked from JC during the year. He certainly has the ability to put his foot in the ground and make a nice clean cut upfield. The problems arose from just how easy it was for a defender to get him on the ground. It'll be fun to watch how the RB situation plays out this spring. I do know this: If JC's slipping down the depth chart, he's gonna go down swinging for the fences.

Well, I'm not a rep, just a regular old member. I think us regular guys have to actually refer you, not the other way around. They make everything so difficult, no wonder there are less than 10k members.

I honestly don't think we get either of them. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see it. If we can pull Ford and McKenzie though it would lessen the sting considerably.

So I am going to setup my initial giving to the Hokie Club and figured I would put this out in case someone wants credit for a referral, first to respond with their Rep # gets the credit. This discussion made the decision for me so I figured someone on here might as well get the credit.

I gotta go with Tapp too. He is the main one that sticks out in my mind. Now that it has been brought up, it makes me wonder...
Why is it that a great defensive team like VT with access to the NFL's all-time sack leader can't seem to get the top d-line recruits? 2014 Examples: Deshawn Hand and Andrew Brown. Has their even been a Hokie that has gone on to the NFL and produced 10% as much as Bruce Smith? Hopefully NNadi will change all this.

Here are a couple of updates on Edmunds' rehab.

The first was published on Dec 1, 2013: http://www.wset.com/story/24106961/update-on-trey-edmunds-leg-surgery

Trey's father Ferrell said, "The doctor said surgery went really well."

"Being Christian we put it in the hands of the Lord," Ferrell said Sunday. "Bones can heal [rather quickly], unlike knee [injuries]and ligament [damage]."

"In four months [Trey] should be running around again, God willing," Ferrell said.

"It's been coming along real good. I see myself progressing more and more each day," Edmunds said Wednesday night. "It's a long process, so the thing for me is to be patient. I think everything's coming along well."

He said he doesn't plan on participating in the Hokies' annual spring game so he can go through the entire recovery process and not rush to get back on the field. He said it should take him about five months to fully recover, which is right in the middle of the four-to-six month prognosis.

His fear if he attempts to rush back is sustaining another injury that could set him back even more and force him to miss more time.

"Patience is the key and with an injury like this, it can linger if you rush it and worse things can happen," he said. "I just want to just take my time, do everything the doctors tell me, continue to rehab and go to physical therapy as much as possible just to get it back to as close as I can to 100 percent."

I sounds like Trey's healing up nicely.

Although, I agree, there have been some recent injuries that have exceeded their projected healing time. D.J. Coles and Tariq Edwards pop into mind.

I agree with the other posters that Moore and Tapp are at the top of the list. I would also add Carlton Powell as one of VT's top D linemen during that time period. He was awesome at stuffing the run.

On the whole, I think they look much sharper and crisper than last year. Their defense is greatly improved. The first three conference games were very close scores and yesterday's game was fun to watch. I think they are on the right track, and I believe next year will be a wonderful year for them in spite of loosing Uju and Monet. Hoping they can finish strong, looking forward to the next 3 home games!

Solution #2 every game is a night game. That way it's guaranteed that BOTH effect games are night games!

If Tellier hit the first of her free throws, the game would have been won in regulation. Ugoka was out with knee problems. The biggest problem this year has been closing out games. Coming in to ACC all they need to do was win 5 to qualify for postseason play. The first three games were all winnable and they squandered two of them at home by not finishing the game. They have two winnable games at home and then will likely have to steal two on the road from WF and UVA to qualify now. Maybe now that they have the taste of winning they can finish strong.

Well that and the fact that at any point during a college game day you can watch every single game that's being played. Back in the day you'd have access to 2 or 3 games and one of those is probably the local college. So naturally it'd be more enticing to go to the actual game. Now if two Top 25 teams are playing and you're team is going to get hammered it's easier to excuse yourself to staying home and watching other, more interesting games.

I dunno, when a running back is getting huge chunks of yards/run, people often say something along the lines of "Man, we're really gashing them with the run!"

Two years ago Caleb + Ekanem + Kirven decided on NSD.

We were pretty sure we had Caleb, thought Kirven was 60/40 VT and had no idea on Ekanem.

Just about everyone who goes to VCU is from Richmond or very close by. Not only that but a lot of the VCU grads stay in the Richmond area also. So when you have a basketball game in Richmond there is virtually no travel required.
