I vaguely remember him saying something similar last summer around the time he posted that workout video in preparation for the Alabama game. 200 lbs is a little bit of a stretch for someone his frame and height. Not saying its impossible, just hard to pack on that much muscle for someone so short.

You mean the JMU team that won in lane against a ranked VT team?

Or the Marshall team that took us to multiple overtimes?

Might be time to get off that high horse and just let it run on the treadmill.

None taken. I realize that it is difficult for everyone to purchase the shirts. That is why the prices are kept low in order maximize the "Hokie Effect." But I appreciate your input, it will be taken into consideration. That is partially why I posted on TKP; to hear suggestions or ideas fans might have.

If you go to the website, you can click through all of the predictions in the order in which they happened. There were two VT predictions made over this past weekend, one of which was a change from uva. But in the last week, there have been close to a dozen* fsu picks, half* of which were flips from vt... *estimating

Not sure about Brown, but it sounds like Hand likes the prospect of playing for National Championships. Tough to argue with a guy wanting to get the national exposure like that.

When the weekend the started I thought it was 47% VT and now it is 49% VT but I could be wrong. Most analysts on 247 changed their predictions last week to FSU last week and some picked Tech over the weekend.

As a general i think you would be surprised at all the coordination we actually do. We start cheers every possession, you may just not notice. The major problem was that before yesterday both our basketball teams had lost something like 16 straight games combined. The rest of the students stopped coming because the games aren't close and don't care about cheering when they are watching a team losing to an average team by 20. When we have promotions students walk in, grab the free item, and then leave.

There's no current NFL d-lineman coaches can sell to recruits, for starters. That hurts. Engelberger and Tapp are the last 2 guys that have stuck to NFL rosters and started (unless I am forgetting someone). And Tapp is now a linebacker for the Redskins.

Add to that a history of guys "moving down" the line when the get to VT. Again, not helpful.

Plus, great d-linemen are coveted like no other position save QB, perhaps moreso. That makes it that much more difficult to recruit the great ones.

Bones can heal quickly and they come back stronger. Trey was lucky that it wasn't a ligament injury because those come back weaker than before.
