not to mention royal and morgan's contributions on special teams. the returns those two made were incredible
Oh believe me, I fully understand. It's going to be wild. Tennessee fans are vicious here.
Sorry I'm not a Redskins fan but that was not classless. If the point of the game is to not try and dance around then fucking not try and dance around. Don't try and get a first on a fake punt. What would be classless is trying to show everyone up when everyone knows no one is even bothering to try.
How much of this problem would be fixed by removing the job prohibition from non-scholarship players? Let them get summer or weekend jobs. I know I had to work my way through Tech to live while getting my engineering degree. My scholarship paid tuition only. I had to earn enough money to cover rent, food, insurance, car payments, etc.
Don't know who downvoted you for telling the truth. Funny how that works, isn't it?
Zombie Frank Franzetta approves. A lot.
He dunked over someone on UNC a couple years later in the ACC tournament which was also awesome. It was off an out of bounds alley-oop, I can't remember who he dunked over though.
I still can't believe that team lost to NC State in the semifinals. That was our chance to win the ACC title. Not really gonna complain too much though because that whole season was fun.
Yes. Thats...exactly...whatever you were talking about....
Only team to beat UNC and Duke in the same week!
supposed to hit 50 in the burg on Sat
Keep thinking that insulting someone's skills as a parent is an insult. Thats just stupid talk. If you're parents sucked and screwed you over recognize it and overcome it. My wife's socialist mother who is around my kids all the time thinks just like your kind of people and we have to remind our children that socialism hurts people, judging people by what they say not by what they do hurts people, and that there is nothing tawdry about hard work creating value which is exchanged for money. There are exceptions to these rules, but these rules underpin our society for people who are not morally emotionally and/or intellectually challenged.
If you let your kids think evil people are rich, you are a terrible parent. I get that many on this board don't think that way and thats fine. Care less if you downvote me or not.
Rich people work hard.
Rich people put investment to work.
Rich people create jobs, something that is very hard to do.
Rich people solve problems in ways that most people don't, won't, or can't.
We can get into distinctions between born into rich, worked for rich, etc. Money isn't the measure of the man or woman, but the alternative is that we regress into a dark ages. When money flows to you it flows usually because you've done something for other people. Too many rich these days want government to put its hand in everyone's pocket. I'm not talking about them. They're scum and I've worked for quite a few of them. When money flows without regard for value exchanged you end up with a highly disfunctional society where people will get hurt, just a matter of time.
Rich people rock, get over it, and get on with it.
Well, that click wasn't a total loss. Someone had this in their signature:

An interview with Seth during the 2007 season when they swept North Carolina and Duke - (#1 North Carolina twice and @Duke)
Things I enjoyed about this interview...
- #1 loses at Virginia Tech
- Went from averaging 5000 people to selling out every single night
- Coach calling the Durant-Oden debate correctly.
- Highlights of Coleman Collins, Zabe, Jamon Gordon, Deron. What a fun group that was. Every player on that team was so easy to root for.
This^^^!!
What's a bold statement? That I don't think he'll be drafted?
Again, I like him. And he was just a r-fr. But I think he has lower ceiling than the 2, 3, or maybe 4 guys coming in. And that's just the 2014 class. I just dont see him as being a top 25 WR, i.e 1st or 2nd team all conference, before he's done.
I see it as a win/win. If I'm wrong, he has a great career at VT. If I'm right, VT is gonna have a number of really good receivers.
And that's why the pro bowl is on the chopping block. Because it's professional football where the best guys in the world are on the team, and no one thinks they actually have to try. Who wants to watch that crap?
let's hope the weather treats him extra nice while he's here...
You could say "more BCS bowl berths", and it would work.
Fantastic idea, maybe charge $25-50 and you would get priority seating for football and basketball, and if other sports charge admission you would get it discounted or a concession voucher. Plus a turkey leg a season at football games. I would have loved that and I bet it would appeal to 30% or more of students.
If Mckenzie makes the trip to Blacksburg I think we will be the team to beat
Sit back and let Bud do what he always does.
No kidding. One poster even had the nerve to say nowhere else (but ND) could even come close when it comes to his personal development. Frank Beamer. Graduation rates. A program with a family atmosphere. Oh, and a program with more championships than coaches in the past 10 years (yes, I know ND is independent and therefore doesn't have a conference to potentially win, but it still works).
2016. Hoping that Isaiah decides to commit to us and then embarrass them in their house.
