"Quarterback is perhaps the most difficult position to evaluate on a highlight film"
I'd say OL is
That's what I say every game. Its getting exasperating! The same thing every game.
I don't know if you guys saw this, but in our motion offense against UVA we started to pass back to the pick setter early and had some success. Then, when we had 11 points, we stopped doing this and only passed to guy in direction of dribble into that pick. I'm sure some UVA defense adjustments were part of the reason, but I saw several opportunities to take advantage again and again as game continued...AND WE NEVER TOOK ADVANTAGE...NEVER! Doht!
Also I'm 30. Womp. Womp.
Thanks y'all.
No expert here, but if I had to guess, I would imagine their film is pretty different. Glennon was a pure pocket passer with a cannon for an arm. The question was never "could he throw it that far?" but more "would he throw it that far?" Glennon underthrew a lot of deep balls at Tech to the consternation of many fans, but I don't think his arm strength was ever the question. He also had the luxury of Eddie Royal running underneath his deep bombs in high school and college, which would make anyone look better.
While Ford has good pocket presence, it looks like he is comfortable scrambling outside the pocket and allowing his receivers more time to create separation/break down coverage, something I don't think Glennon did very often. I think the Kellen Moore comparison is spot on, French. If Ford has a career at Tech a la Moore at Boise, undergrads at VT 2014-2018 are in for something special.
Holy shit!
Well I am older than my car...
Yeah....that's whatever it was we were talking about is for.
they could barely get a shot off in the first half. according to techhoops.com this was the worst loss to uva since 1990. their program is a million miles ahead of us when we were neck and neck just a few years ago. i see no joy in the faces or body language of the players. they're simply going through the motions to get out of the season.
Luckily for Thomas, I think he only goes up from here. I believe his upcoming workouts will only favor him moving forward and teams will be enamored with his size and potential. Let's face it, he is great when the bullets are not flying around him as evidenced by his practices leading up to the Sr. Bowl. It is in live game action where his decision making and footwork at time breakdown. Without those situations in the individual workouts, he will be able to eliminate those weaknesses which should help him shoot up. Hopefully for Logan, he can then take the time to continue to learn where things may eventually slow down enough for him to take advantage of his God given skillsets.
gotcha. was reading that a different way. yes, agree with this completely.
technically, that's not a hard copy. And, electronic signatures are very prominent. Type your name, check the box, all under a specific login that is verified by the NCAA. Not hard.
I wasn't implying that the university isn't responsible for supporting your decision on what undergrad to pursue, just that choosing between an undergrad in business versus underwater basketweaving is still something that the student needs to decide on. The school is stating that their primary interest in you at this point is your ability to play a specific sport. If the schools only interest was a student playing a sport though we wouldn't have kids going to FUMA or other prep schools for not meeting the academic standards required to attend the school, these kids would get in and be fostered through whatever degree they thought they could manage.
How else do you get a hard copy of a person's signature?
smh
And we need the RBs to block better.
It's hard to call Druck smart
haha... and this is a compliment.
good question though about Glennon.
Not you, just your car.
Loved that first one.
So, once again TEAMPIE CREAMPIE wins.
More importantly, a Foster unit.
TEAMCAKE was unavailable for comment. TEAMCOOKIE spent all its time trying to photobomb TEAMPIE when the reporters showed up.
You NEVER forget your first.
elements of these were great, but overall...meh.
i liked the white one, but i hated the font for the numbers on both. i like orange, but i thought the orange sleeves were just too much on the maroon ones. i did prefer the matching neck to the contrasting neck we have now and had prior.
side note: did we really have those for 3 years!? i thought it was just 2...

*sigh*
