It always seems like he only gets chances to get reps when there's two minutes left and no one else is trying. He's trying too hard to prove that he can be someone while everyone else has already admitted defeat.

So are you saying that Tyrod can't be an effective starter or can't be a championship QB? I don't understand the implication of your last phrase. Wilson is obviously an effective and successful starting QB even though he hasn't "won anything yet"
Raising the Hoos' hopes before handing them a crushing disappointment...looks like Nnadi's getting used to being a Hokie already!
2013 couldn't have ended sooner for both of us.
Yeah but Boykin had the presence of mind to pick the ball up and be in the position to take it in when they figured out the play was not dead.
He had the ball and the other guys did not. Result, TD.
John Harbaugh is waiting until Mark Leal is available.
That's what I saw too. Figure he told him "it's a fumble." He'd know.
Heads up by both of them.
Unfortunately, from what I've seen when he has played (some regular season, mostly pre-season), he still seems to fall back on scrambling too quickly. Pulls the eyes down and runs, although that's understandable for someone who hasn't gotten many live-game reps.
Sources tell me that Lane Kiffin has been heard stating:
"Miami is my DREAM job!"

I'll give you half of that. Fresh out of school he was not a pure enough passer to be an NFL starter. That being said, he's now spent significant time on an NFL roster and has in all likelihood developed at least a little.
I'd like to see him get his shot. He could be anything from a career backup to Russell Wilson V2.
Either way, He's still one of my favorite Hokies EVER. Pro career is just a bonus.
Yeah, it was great.
Who will Miami try to get after Golden bails for the Penn State gig? I would nominate Time Cop, but I like him right where he is. Perhaps they should pick up Kiffen. I would love to curb stomp him some more.
More like nice play by Rodgers.
I want Boykin to have a nice career in the league, but e was clearly just walking around until Rodgers came runnin up and pointed downfield, yelling "Goooooo" I assume
While it is business, it's dirty to convince these kids to come to PSU and convince the others not to transfer then he leaves a year later.
They thought Jameis Winston was going to be a good player too.
Play until the whistle blows.
Good to see he learned that lesson before now.
Pete, you make me want to pack it in and go back for a doctoral degree.
They are about as decisive as a 16 year old girl
What an alert play by Boykin. In other news the Panthers are finally relevant again (sorry I'm a huge Panther fan, couldn't help it!)
That was something else! Glad to see him getting his chances in the Pros.
In other news, I think both us and the Redskins are glad this season is in the books.
Please, just score a lot of Touchdowns!

No, I'm just being reasonable. It seems to me a lot of Hokie fans think he would win superbowls with any team if only he would get to be a starter. I just don't think he's cut out to be as good of a QB in the NFL as he was in college. I love Tyrod, I really do. But I don't think he will ever become a big-time NFL starter. I honestly think Logan has a better chance of that.
