I agree. But sometimes I feel like some Hokie fans believe if he just played he'd win the superbowl every year. He's a good QB, and was very good in college. Is he one of the best 32 QBs in the world? Maybe, but I'd say he is more suited as a backup

Wilson is a better pocket passer who even when scrambling almost always looks to throw first. Also, I think he's on a better team, and even then hasn't looked invincible.

Also, I didn't say that every mobile QB doesn't work out, but it's not like Wilson has won anything yet.

For food, my favorites are:

Pizza and a beer at PK's

The Cellar is also pretty good. If you're there long enough, there are some decent hikes in the area that can be done in just a few hours. Obviously, as others have said, take a quick campus tour and see the War Memorial, the April 16th Memorial, the Stadium, etc.

If you decide to do a hike, Dragon's Tooth is a pretty good one, and it is very close to Homeplace, which I haven't actually been to, but have heard rave reviews from everyone, so you could probably combine those pretty easily. I got up early and hiked Dragoon's Tooth before the sun came up about a month ago--the view is pretty nice.

This is an age-old debate in forums. Personally I like seeing us landing the star power that we offer, versus not getting them obviously.

The thing that stands out to me as mentioned is the 2 POY in their respective states; that adds a little glimmer to the rating and a little extra "insurance" to landing a bust recruit.

I know everyone will crush me for this, but I'm going to be completely honest here: I don't think Tyrod has what it takes to be a starter in the NFL. His pocket passing never impressed me, and most of his great plays were improvising from scrambling. Great NFL careers don't usually come from scrambling quarterbacks.

To be fair, Stanford was under-recruited mostly as a result of living most of his life in Canada. He only had a year or two in Atlanta to get noticed. As for highly rated guys like Caleb, Davis and Roberts, it's really hard and hit-or-miss to take good athletes who play RB or QB in high school and make them productive college receivers. That's one reason I'm really happy just about all of our WR recruits play the position in high school. You're spot on in terms of a lack of offensive talent, which is why the fact that we're going out of state so much this year shouldn't be a surprise.
