They've had a lot of attrition already. When I last counted they were at 62 scholarship athletes when you subtract the seniors, and there will likely be some redshirt juniors who have degrees and decide not to come back. When you consider that every school usually loses 3-5 guys in the offseason due to grades, injury or arrest it doesn't look like there will be that much more roster pruning. Right now with 26 commits that puts them at 88 scholarship athletes. They'll lose 3 kids without trying. If they land Nnadi, Keihn and Minor it could be an issue.

From ESPN (And I was about to post something completely contrary to this before I actually looked it up and deleted it all):
If a recruit enrolls in January and attends class, he can be counted toward the previous year's recruiting class.
So this might apply to all of our January enrollees, but I'm not sure. At the very least, the new 4 guys can be counted towards last year's class.
Reid, Fisher and Jefferson might all count towards the 2013 class too, which would help. The early enrollees, however, would still count towards this year's class I'm pretty sure.

After thinking about this a bit more, it would be a lot easier just to have regular secondary rivals identified. Those 'secondary' rivals would wind up playing each other 4 times over 6 years, so they could pick up some of the rivalries dropped by going to the Pod system.
Using the pods I proposed above; GT could step in as our secondary rival in the years we're matched up against Pod4 & Miami. GT would be matched up against Pod1 teams those years, so their regular rival would have to be someone like Boston College or Navy, in order for GT to be 'available' for secondary rival games the same years we are.
