I've never understood the obsession with lucky charms. Everytime there's lucky charms in food service, everyone loses their goddamned minds, when clearly the superior cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Conversely I would say it's the coaches that are bigger than I'd expect, not the players. Bud, Wiles, Moorhead, Grimes, and Loeffler are all giants. Other than the linemen, most of the players just seem average size. I see Kyshoen walking through Cassell everyday and I'm pretty sure I'm taller than him and I'm only 5'10.

Not sure why she can say the Hokies haven't been worth watching. Up until the kickoff of the last game, they were in the running to represent the Coastal. Yes, there have been games we usually count on winning: Duke, BC, Maryland; that didn't go our way, but to say they are not worth watching is weak. You can't be there for the high times and turn your back on the team just because they have to grind it out. She is clearly not a member of TKP and I do not extend her any Hokies respect.

Grandma is a beautiful German woman. I miss her dearly

Here is a picture of her as a young fraulein getting ready for Oktoberfest

Here is a picture of her training for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics

I'm not disagreeing - Grandma Utz are by far the best.

The other thing that PA is home to is Martin's Potato Chips...

I might be a spoiled fan but damn it if my Hokies are playing, I am watching! lol

VT will be in replacing a 3 year starter at QB, his second college start in the HorseShoe is going to be big test. Not sure if counts as rebuilding since our running backs and WR's come back. Hopefully they continue to develop.

Agree with disgust. I feel worse for her husband as she sounds like a high maintenance gal where nothing is ever good enough.

Likely so, but I am really struggling with this visual.
(And then my mind goes to the gutter, and that's just not right.)

"Tiptoe, through the tulips....."

Every time I see this basketball picture from him in high school, I just think about how insane you would have to be to intentionally take a charge from Sam Rogers.

SN: Maybe instead of being compared to the Hulk or Juggernaut, Sam Rogers runs through and over people like the Kool-Aid man

I am not talking about HD. I am talking about this woman that actually wrote this letter to HD.

I bet he goes somewhere where he's guaranteed to play. That's not here. Leal will have a huge leg up on him, IMO.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was worried you could have made a mistake there for a second.

Let me just say that this

Plainscapital Bank Heart of Dallas Bowl

is absolutely the worst name of a bowl game ever. I mean I can't even say it. As in I physically can't say it. WTF with the words "Bank" and "Heart" being one after the other in a sentence? Or being in the same sentence period? It's as if somebody cut words out of the newspaper at random and pasted them together. Like next year the game will be called "Dish Network Pancreas And Passaic, New Jersey Measuring Cup." (Which is far easier to pronounce than "Plainscapital Bank Heart Of Dallas Bowl.")

That is my complaint for today. Thanks for listening.

I was at the Maryland game this year with my wife and kids and the parade was about to start so we were standing near Cassell. My wife took a picture of a couple of older ladies with one of their I-phones and a few minutes later the woman's husband comes over to my family. He asks me if he can give my son some receivers gloves and i said absolutely. He told my son that they had been worn during the Miami game the week before. My son was stoked! When he was turning to walk away I said "Thank you Mr. Worsham!!"

I was standing in the beer aisle of Food Lion with a friend who didn't follow football. Sean Glennon walked up and asked if we knew where to find the Mad Dog. My friend, not realizing who it was turned to him and said "Mad Dog?! Are you serious?" He then got really sheepish and muttered something about how somebody asked him to pick it up for him. I told him to check the wine aisle and he shuffled off, while I tried to contain my laughter.

Also, my roommates were in New Orleans for the 2005 Sugar Bowl. After the game they were pretty drunk, getting in the elevator to their hotel room, and Bryan Randall followed them in. He said something like "what's up?" and the best they could reply with was "cheeeillin'" followed by a long, awkward elevator ride.

Used to drink with *************** at ************ when they were supposed to be ************.
Also used to drink with *************** in the basement of our fraternity house.
And in Ocean City, used to hang out with ************** and hit several bars with him.
That's all I can say about that. Let's just say you wouldn't be surprised.

Insiders report there is a growing movement to rename the Heisman to "The Rogers"....

1. Your name is glorious.

2. Excellent first post.

3. I would weigh 500 lbs if I lived there.

4. Not to be indecent, but instinct tells me Grandma was a fine looking woman in her day. Are you willing to confirm or deny?
