Among the many football things I don't understand. Like when linemen can move/adjust without it being a false start.

I can't figure this out either.

Meh, I think it would be cool to win National championships at three different schools. Has anyone else done that?

At least he left Alabama in a better place than when he started (assuming he does actually leave).

I think newer nationally recognized programs like Boise, Utah, UCF, USF etc will drop off the national scene significantly (if not completely). JMU and ODU will have little or no chance for 5-10 years. The key for them will be having a visionary coach like Frank Beamer to not give up and continue to play better teams no matter how 'outmatched' they might be. Without a loyal dedicated staff no program can evolve the way VT did. Loyalty has always been rare in college football.

Frank's quite the exception.

If Boise had any real chance of not falling off drastically their coach may not have jumped ship. Unfortunately they might just go back to become known simply for their 'smurf turf'

Helen of Troy IS an expensive brand! LOL. I have a curling iron that is that brand but I have a hair-dryer made by Chi. The quality of hair dryer you have does help a lot in the mornings :P The players expecting this easily have a great Christmas gift for their mothers!

For the players' sake, I hope it's a cheap one. Would hate for their $550 gifts budget to get eaten up by something they're all going to regift.

I've been playing ncaa football for over a decade now and I don't think I've ever played a dynasty with anyone but the Hokies.

The only problem with that is Miami. They'd have to be in the South which would end up requiring one of the Tobacco road teams to split from the rest. What I wouldn't be surprised to see is what the Pac-12 does for California teams be done with NC teams. They aren't all in the same division but every California team must play the other California teams every year.

Let me clarify that hierarchy for you, because: I'm a giver.

If Boise State could come up with the cash, Saban would be there in a hot minute.

Maybe Saban's like me playing PlayStation. Play with one team on NCAA football dynasty, get bored and change over to Madden briefly, get bored again and come back to NCAA to start another dynasty with a different team. I may not share the same football brain as Saban, but it seems like we have similar attention spans.

does anyone else get the feeling that Saban gets bored once hes built something? he enjoys the building but not the ho-hum life at the top

If you had more turkey legs, I might respect your complete disregard for turkey legs, but since you're new....

TRROLLLLLLLL!!!

At this point I think we can all agree that:
-there were signs of good things to come
-there were some causes for concern
-there will probably be more growing pains next year, but 2015 is when a lot of things hopefully will come together
