When Saban's wife started complaining about the Bama fans I expected that something may be brewing. I bet he goes. If the wife is not happy the coach isn't either. Maybe she is why he moves so much.

I would imagine a potential of Kirby Smart being the next head coach at Bama. That might split the rest of the coaching staff. Maybe.
Greatly depends on who the next HC would be there. Suffice to say that their recruiting would take a big hit immediately, and their on field performance would likely go down initially as Saban would haul much of his staff with him to TX and the new Bama staff would have to install their system. If the new HC and coordinators were strong, Bama could return to glory in 2-3 years, IMO. They will always have a large and rabid fanbase.

I'm currently working on a "Road to Glory" game in NCAA where I'm a QB. His name is Sir Richard Lilliputian X (for anyone who needs a definition like I did, lilliputian means small). I'm making him play really well in high school. Then he'll be taking his talents to Charlottesville. At this point I'm going to turn the difficulty to Heisman and play as terribly as possible for his entire collegiate career.

Does anyone else hate the large number of bowls before Christmas? It's cool and all, but I miss the giant flustercuck of bowls over a one week span. All about the money.

GT is only a "rival" because until this year we were the only two teams to represent the Coastal in the ACCCG.
Is it odd to anyone else that LOLUVA is not in the other division as our cross-division rival? It should be them or GT in my opinion. Otherwise it's not really a rival so much as just another football game.

I can think of about 10 million reasons a year for Saban to go to Texas. Something that Bama can't match. Texas has the biggest purse strings in the country.

# | My Case for a 16 Team Playoff Using 2013's Potential Matchups. I'm going to expand on this. You say that's it won't be possible for teams to become relevant in the future. However, this flatly is just not true. Teams in minor conferences can keep improving hoping for chance to jump up or they can take matters in their own hands.
Let me propose a way to make a lot of teams extremely relevant right now:
The New American Athletic Conference
EAST DIVISION
UCF, Cincinnati, Northern Illinois, Bowling Green, Ball State, ECU, Marshall
WEST DIVISION
Boise, BYU, Frenso St., Nevada, Houston, Rice, Utah State
Championship game alternates from East coast to West coast every year but in same location.
Boom. Every single one of those teams now has been made VERY relevant and could easily build a program up that could reach the top 4 ranked teams to play for the national championship.
I don't recall any issues at MI State or LSU before he left. He tends to follow the $$$.
