Oh, there's definitely a chance - after all, Auburn plays in the SEC, and you know ESECPN would love to get their campaign going to have an SEC team in the MNC. But, I honestly don't think it happens if OSU finishes undefeated. IF (and it's a big IF) OSU beats MSU next week, we'll see FSU vs. OSU for the MNC. And for the first year in what, 8 years?, we won't have an SEC team present.

Only if tOSU loses. Even SOS I don't think could leapfrog an undefeated from an AQ conference, no matter how weak the B1Gs been lately. Plus the human vote I think will help keep tOSU up as long as they win.
So chances are it'll be FSU v OSU.
Any chance of Auburn leaping tOSU? Strength of schedule and all that? I'd much rather see FSU vs. Auburn.
The CFA bowl, if we go though, would be late enough that Fuller and Exum could feasibly healthy to play.

I agree it's very likely we "jump up" to the Chicken Bowl. I'd love it. But, I fear we'd be fairly overmatched by the SEC opponent.
I hope I'm wrong, and I'll gladly eat crow. But, I watched a fairly average (if that?) VT team today...and that's a trend the back half of the season.
Well all these depend on Clemson beating USC-E...which is kinda looking squirrley right now.
But I think if Clemson wins, since it's a 1-game offset, we could jump Miami to CFA because of travelling and sales.

Totally agree. No doubt that's gonna hurt them in bowl selection. It's a shame, they've had a great season.
Logic would say Duke gets the Chick-Fil-A and we get the Russell Athletic or the Belk Bowl, but I have a feeling we could easily wind up in the Chick-Fil-A especially if Duke gets crushed by FSU. Nobody thought we'd be in the Sugar Bowl 2 years ago either but we're a hotter commodity for ticket sales than Duke and should be chosen ahead of Miami.
